We loved this central location, right on the Marina Grande. We loved was access to Sorrento by foot and the beautiful scenery. Our host Giuseppe was fantastic and helped with all our daily transfers. This was a perfect location, for a perfect Vacation.

My family adored Casa Marama

My family adored Casa Marama. It was our favorite apartment of the three we stayed in during our 10 day trip to Italy. The host, Giuseppe, was very accommodating and met us at the apartment even though our flight and transfer had been delayed. The three balconies looked right down onto Marina Grande, and my daughter went swimming the night we arrived at midnight! I could see her clearly from the balcony. The apartment's setup was perfect for a family of four - my teenagers each had their own bed, and with two bathrooms there was always one available. The host very helpfully provided the necessary paper and linen products, with additionally some breakfast items and water in the refrigerator. We took advantage of the open balcony doors the first night, but realized that there really isn't a time when it ever gets quiet between the late revelers and early fishermen. So the subsequent nights we closed the doors and slept very well. But we don't regret the fresh air and sounds of the sea of the first night, even with a little disturbed sleep! Checkout was easy, Giuseppe had great communication with us and the tasks needed to take care of the apartment were very well explained. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and recommend everyone else to do so as well! No improvements are necessary, the property is perfect! I was glad to find a recommendation to Summer in Italy. After several friends had other rental accommodations fall through during Europe trips, I knew I wanted to rent through a company where I could have advance communication with the staff, and have recourse to a real person if anything went wrong. Summer In Italy have been absolutely perfect with communication, and each of the three hosts at the three apartments were also impeccable. The information about each apartment that was provided proved to be everything we needed, and we did not need to reach out for assistance during our trip, but the knowledge that we could helped us feel secure. I would absolutely use Summer in Italy for any future travel and will recommend their services to my network of friends and colleagues.

Loved this location and view

Loved this location and view. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Just steps away from beach club and restaurants. It’s not as busy in marina so less crowds. The main piazza is only a short 10-15 min walk Everything was great. I will recommend this property.

Love this location

Great location with less crowds. We stayed here for a week with our family and loved it. Clean and spacious. A lot of great restaurants just steps away and on the water. The views are beautiful. The piazza with more restaurants and shops only about a ten minute walk.

I would definitely book through Summer in Italy again and would highly recommend it to others to use this service. The communication back and forth was great and they always answered my questions. We loved the Marina Grande location, which was new to us despite multiple previous trips to Sorrento. We loved the little neighborhood around the apartment and frequented several of the local restaurants, which were inexpensive, but delicious. The views from the apartment are gorgeous and the unit was quite large and spacious for three of us. We also have to call out the special kindness and consideration of our host, Giuseppe. He met us to let us in on our arrival day and walked us through everything in detail, and also gave some restaurant suggestions for our stay. When we left, we overlooked a packing cube with clothes in a dresser drawer. We alerted Giuseppe, who went to the unit and found our missing items, and was kind enough to take them to the local DHL office and ship them back to us. We can't thank him enough! The balcony views and the size of the unit impressed us. We highly recommend this unit!

Charming Marina Grande Location

We adored our little home-away-from-home location in the Marina Grande area of Sorrento. It was quiet and private and felt like we were part of the "real" Sorrento. The restaurants just outside our apartment were charming and mostly family-run. We loved them! And our balcony provided a charming view over the entire Marina Grande and, at night, it was so magical. The VRBO apartment was lovely and the convenient bus to Sorrento Centre and the Train Station was perfect! We loved this place!

Paradise in Sorrento

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed! The apartment is spotless, very spacious and multiple balconies all with views. I loved waking up to the sound of the waves & church bells. It is a bit of a walk up the steps to Sorrento Center but the beauty of the walk & the serenity of Marina Grande are worth it. Summer in Italy was a wonderful host I highly recommend this beautiful apartment!

Loved, Loved, Loved Casa Marama. So relaxing to sit on the balcony in the morning and have coffee and tea. Everything was wonderful, can't think of anything that needs to be improved. Everything went smooth with Summer In Italy, excellent communication and information.

Hidden gem

This place is a hidden gem. Requires a bit of walking, but we'll worth it to excape the crowds of Sorrento. We absolutely had a blast here.

This view was breathtaking.

This location is in the heart of an old fishing village where locals still live. The unit has a strange upper bathroom that needed towels and soap. We basically used the main bathroom for 4 us and the other one as back up. One of the beds was fine but the other one was painfully hard, causing neck pain and headache. Overall we loved the location with access to restaurants and shopping.

Amazing water front view of Mt. Vesuvius!

Owner was great and met us at arrival to help find the building and show us around the apartment. The beds and furniture were all comfortable and the whole place was very spacious. There is a great view of the marina and Mt. Vesuvius. Easy acces for boat pickup, beach, several excellent restaurants, and a small market right outside the building. There is a public bus stop for rides into downtown Sorrento. Parking might be a challenge if you have a car, but we used private transfers and the us and it went well. We would definitely stay here again if we return.

Great place!!

This home is in the perfect location, overlooking the Marina Grande. It is surrounded by good restaurants and it is an nice walk into the city center and the ferry port. It was the perfect size for our family as we were traveling with another couple.

This was the second time we were in Casa Marama and we really love it

This was the second time we were in Casa Marama and we really love it. The house is in Marina Grande, Sorrento's little old fishing village. If you want to go to Sorrento town, you just have to go up the stairs and walk 200 metres. In the apartment there are 2 spacy bedroom and a living room + a kitchen. Everything you need! It is awesome to see the sunset from your own balcony, and there are several balconies in the apartment! There are a lot of lovely restaurants near the house and also a beach in front. There is also a little shop only few steps from the house.

The amenities were as described, and then some

The amenities were as described, and then some. The location is right in the middle of the action in Marina Grande, but just removed enough to mitigate the late night noise. The view from the terrace can't be beat. Everything was fine. Giuseppe [the caretaker] was a pleasure to deal with. Summer In Italy could not have been more helpful. There were several changes of dates due to the pandemic. Luca and staff handled it all professionally and cheerfully. Contact by email and by phone was simple.

Our host Salvatore and his friendly wife Tiziana were great as well and they even let us check in early which really helped! Waking up to the Mediterranean Sea and Mt Vesuvius right outside our windows every morning was breathtaking!! The village of Sorrento was beautiful and treated us in first class fashion!! No words really to describe our experience in Sorrento but everything was incredible!! Our host Salvator and his friendly wife Tiziana were great as well and they even let us check in early which really helped! Waking up to the Mediterranean Sea and Mt Vesuvius right outside our windows every morning was breathtaking!! The village of Sorrento was beautiful and treated us in first class fashion!! The view from the balconies over the harbour and Mt Vesuvius were amazing. The location is excellent with many harbourside restaurants. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully appointed. Highly recommended. Everything was perfect. You should take better pictures as the view is so much better that what is advertised!!

What a wonderful place to experience Sorrento in the quaint fishing village at Marina Grande. Location was very enjoyable. As stated it is right above a restaurant and bar so it was noisy but nothing that you can't block out with ear plugs and just getting used to it. It was a very enjoyable place to stay and great views. Would definitely stay there again. Fantastic! Summer In Italy is a great way to book your stays in Italy. Will certainly do it again.

We could not have asked for a better place to spend our 8 nights in Sorrento. The location was perfect. Casa Marama was home away from home. I really can't think of anything I would recommend. We were so happy with our stay. Everyone we worked with from Summer In Italy to the property people were great. We actually just happened on Summer In Italy but have recommended it to others and would use the service again. I love the news letters. I learned a number of things prior to going on our trip that came in very handy.
