Wonderful relaxing stay in Cellettes. Florence and Abdel have been superb hosts. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable, with fresh linen weekly. The lounge has a wide screen TV and comfy sofas so we enjoyed several movie nights. We loved feeding the chickens and goats and the boys really enjoyed collecting eggs. There’s lots of space in the garden and we all enjoyed a game of pétanque. The swimming pool is great and is heated which meant we even swam in the rain. Overall it was the perfect family retreat for an idyllic stay in the Loire.

Fantastic stay!

My wife and two children (2 and 4) stayed for three nights - the place is amazing and the pictures don’t do it justice. Fabulous hosts - very friendly; not to mention their lovely dog Quartz We had a fantastic time and would recommend to anyone in the area Ben

Family get together

The property was an absolute hit with all the family. Everything was provided by the hosts to ensure a successful stay in their beautiful, recently renovated farmhouse. The property was clean and well presented to a very high standard. The heated swimming pool and spa were also a big hit as were the chickens and goats. The house is well situated for the many attractions of the Loire Valley and the help and advice on places to visit from the hosts were second to none. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect location, amazingly well equippedz

This property had absolutely everything we needed for a lovely family week. It was very comfortable and well equipped - we were there with teens and it was great, but families with younger children would have been especially delighted by all the toys. A great selection of garden games for adults too. We very much enjoyed having a hot tub as well as a pool. The location was perfect for exploring the Loire chateaux - there were so many within easy driving distance. The hosts live next door and could not have been friendlier, always popping in. They really were very attentive to our needs. Feeding the animals and picking the tomatoes and courgettes was a joy.

Amazing

Florence and Abdel were amazing hosts as was Quartz the gentle giant dog. The house was equipped for children of all ages. The highlights were the hot tub, feeding the chickens and goats and watching films on the massive tv projector screen. The beds were really comfortable, the washing machine very large and warm swimming pool. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you

Fantastic Stay for the Family

We just got back from an fantastic stay at this property, and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we got there, we could tell this place had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. The property was very well-equipped, especially for families with kids. There were so many toys that our kids were never bored. The heated swimming pool and jacuzzi were fantastic—great for both relaxing and having fun. Florence and Abdel, the hosts, were amazing. They were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They were always around if we needed anything, which was really nice. Our kids had a great time with the animals on the property. They loved feeding the goats and chickens and checking for eggs each morning. It was such a fun and unique experience for them. Our eldest now wants a pet chicken! And we can't forget Quartz, their dog. He's the biggest, friendliest dog ever! Our kids and us adults loved when he came to visit, he added even more fun to our stay. Overall, we had an incredible time and can't recommend this place enough. It's perfect for families, with plenty to keep everyone entertained and happy. Its so close to small town and close to a decent sized Lidl supermarket so could get everything you need. We're already looking forward to coming back!

Fantastic house, great pool!

Along with another family, we stayed at this fabulous place in August 2023 for our summer holiday. Four children (aged 4-10 years old) and four adults had a great time. The property was very clean, well equipped and the pool, hot-tub and gardens were loved by us during our stay. The outdoor kitchen/BBQ area was a fab feature that we made great use of as the weather was lovely and warm. The bedrooms were well equipped with fans so sleeping during the warm evenings for the children was no problem, and the beds were large and comfortable. The playroom area for the children was an unexpected bonus which they loved. The large screen cinema projector in the sitting room made me want to reconsider my TV purchase at home. It was great. The children loved the animals (chickens and goats in the garden), and the daily visit to collect the eggs was a highlight. Lovely eggs on toast! Florence and Abdel were so accommodating and friendly. By far they are the best hosts we have ever experienced. Their dog Quartz was the sweetest, most gentle dog and we loved it when she wandered over to say hello on a few occasions. They did check upon arrival that we were OK with a dog and I’m sure if we weren’t, Abdel and Florence would have ensured she kept her distance, but she was a very well trained dog and we loved seeing her. We thoroughly recommend this place for your holidays, and if we visit the Loire region again, this will be top of our list. Thank you Florence and Abdel. Mike

Très bon séjour !

Nous avons passé un très agréable week-end dans la magnifique propriété de Florence et Abdel. Nous avons été accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse, Florence a été très arrangeante sur les horaires d'arrivées et de départ. Je recommande grandement pour un séjour entre amis, ou bien en famille avec des enfants, les activités ne manqueront pas.

Un très bon séjour

Tout le séjour s’est passé comme nous l’espérions. La maison est grande et bien agencée. Les enfants ont eu un espace à eux et la présence des animaux a été une véritable attraction. Nous avons pu accueillir la famille pour le réveillon de Noël. Merci à Florence et Abdel, nos hôtes et voisins, pour leur gentillesse et disponibilité. Très bon séjour!

A wonderful family getaway

We had a lovely relaxing stay at this wonderful property and were sad to leave! Florence and Abdel were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The kids (and adults!) loved the swimming pool and hot tub. It was great to be able to feed the animals and to eat the delicious fresh eggs. Great amenities including multiple coffee machines (essential with small children!) and great outdoor cooking facilities. Thank you!

Great property for families

Great house with a lovely pool and hot tub, kids loved the animals and checking for eggs each morning, along with the outdoor trampoline and inflatable castle/pool. It was very hot during our visit so the room fans were in constant use. Outside cooking area was used each day. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. The roaming chickens would sometimes left mess on the patio (but a quick wash with the hose pipe cleaned it away) and there was a lot of flies/wasps to contend with so we bought products to keep them at bay. Would recommend.

A beautiful & well equipped property

We stayed in August 2022 and were a three generation family group. The house is very well and thoughtfully equipped to a high standard. Communications with Florence before the visit were very good and her handover of the property was excellent. The garden, pool and outdoor equipment were very good; It was hot weather during our stay and we expecially appreciated the pool. Our three year old grandaughter really enjoyed playing in the garden and especially feeding the goats and hens as well as collecting eggs. Its a lovely location and well placed for visiting the area although we were very happy to spend much of our time at the property. We would definately return! It was avery relaxing holiday.

Brilliant house for a family reunion

Our family reunions included 9 guests - 6 adults (including grandparents and their childrens families - 2 three year olds and a 6 month old). This house had everything you could wish for for a group like this. Large house with excellent facilities. This included all that was outlined in the details. The house is very comfortable and the hosts have thought of everything. We loved the pool, trampoline, fresh eggs in the morning, the bean to cup coffee machine, pétanque area, outdoor kitchen, super comfy extra large beds, fans in all the bedrooms, mezzanine style kids room, and projector style tv. The area is also really lovely and we made the most of it with visits to the zoo, Chambord, Ambroise, the mini chateaux, and a local vineyard recommended by our hosts. Florence and her family were very welcoming, but also just let her us get on with our holiday. Thank you for such a wonderful place for our first family holiday in a very long time!

Nous avons eu malheureusement un week-end assez pluvieux mais nous avons fait face et réalisé tous nos objectifs dont le plus important était les 40 ans de mon fils samedi et de ma belle-fille en février. Les propriétaires sont charmants et ont su être à la hauteur d'un souci que nous avons rencontré. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Un grand merci à Florence et Abdel pour leur accueil.

Séjour entre amis La maison est super, très pratique, super bien équipée. Rien à dire, tout était parfait. Propriétaires d'une gentillesse et flexibilité (horaires) tellement appréciable! On reviendra sans aucune hésitation.
