Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is tired, beat up, and in bad need of update. Too many issues to even list them all.. There were bad stains on the wall in the second bedroom, all the cabinets, walls, and baseboards are badly scarred up. The beds in the second bedroom are terrible and are very loud. There is no lamp in the second bedroom, and the bathroom fan sounds awful. I have been staying at Seascape for 17 years for this ASA event and have never had a unit that I was this dissatisfied with. I will be much more careful about my unit selection in the future.

Not a good experience

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was not very clean the floor were so dirty if you walked across the floor barefoot your feet got black, the garbage disposal did not work the bed comforter had stains on them,the love seat was wore out, there was dirty wash clothes left hanging on the shower rod from the previous tenants, the master bedroom TV control didn’t work, and the master bed was as hard as a brick. They do have a good location though! I will never be back there again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Received lots of great emails and text updates from Seascape Resorts. Timely text informing us how to check-in, how to check-out. Unit cleaned nicely upon our arrival. Although unit is in need of painting, good grout cleaning of tiled floor and bathtub areas. We were provided code to get into our unit, however we never received email/text with code to enter pool area or front doors to building.Biggest complaint for those of you in wheelchairs - the front of building has no ramp access to the street. You will always have to go in and out of back doors and walk all the way around building to get to street and beach area. (You can cut through pool area, if someone provides you with the code to enter through pool, yet this entry point is not convenient to elevators).Accessing the beach in the wheelchair is also an adventure, as there are only two ramps to the beach. Neither of which are close to the entrance of the Majestic Sun, but not all that far away. They are very steep ramps, that definitely do not meet ADA guidelines.

Vacation at Majestic Sun B

Very nice condo. Sensational view of the beach from our balcony. Everything was great!! Plenty of room for everyone. Seascape representative was very friendly when I called about the wrong date being on our passes. It was easily corrected. Everyone was so friendly. I would definitely come back. The only thing that was disliked was you could not smoke on the balcony

Great location, gorgeous view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was perfect for what we needed for our family. We loved the location and ease of check in/check out. I love not needing keys or key cards for condo doors and to get into the building/pool. Our only recommendation is to replace the couches, they seemed worn and hard to get out of. The only problem was the night before we were leaving the something happened to the washer and water came out the bottom and water was everywhere. Luckily I stopped the washer but the tub was full of water. I had to empty the clothes and rinse in the bathtub. It made it a long night and therefore we left later in the morning than planned. Maintenance was coming first thing but we never saw them. I hated leaving the washer full of water. Nothing that was intentional or predictable. Appreciate the chair and umbrella service and discounts for food and activities. Overall great experience and we would stay there again.

Flashback to the 90s

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Majestic sun unit 805b is a flasback yo the 90s. Unit hasnt been updated aince it was built. Kitchen cabinets all need need door fronts, microwave has cracked handle, bar stools have the weathered look in the wrong way. Tvs are smaller than computer screens. No smart tvs there. Time to upgrade. Seascape has made tons of money on these units. Time to put some money back into it. Hallway outaide the elevators on 8th floor were filthy and not cleaned for a week. Called seadcape mgmt, the hoa, and the frknt desk requesting it to be cleaned and everyone said they wetent the one responsible for the hallways of the building. It looked like someone threw up. It was disgusting. Other than that, the pool and hot tub area is great. Outisde of building was being maintained. Landscaping is nice. Location cant be beat. Beach is gorgeous. Seascape also limited the seating area on the beach service that was included with the unit to only a small area of the beach. They gave preference to other unit owners which was disappointing.we have been coming here for 5 years twice a year. Its always been enjoyable but when they changed my unit and gave me a ****** one because the first unit i had reserved was sold before my trip, iy was very disappointinf in the quality of the unit. Seascaoe you really need to bring your units intp the latesy cebtury. There is alot of other great resorts out there to choose from now.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Such a perfect place to have a fantastic vacation stay but knot to happen. 1st: getting to the rental was a disaster. Followed what the gate guards told us led us to a parking lot gate in from of the sign reading "Majestic Sun Building B" but the code we were given wouldn't open the gate. Contacing customer support and spoke with Mackenzie who asked repeatedly "describe where you're at" with repeatedly letting her know what we see. A quick map by the guard would have let us know that we were to turn into the "alley" BEFORE the guard shack. 2nd: Queen beds in the 2nd bedroom were WORST we had EVER been on. Seriously. NOBODY should have to try to sleep on either of them. When we turned ourselves while sleeping the other person would wake up because of the noise. The extra sheets for the sleeper sofa were obsanly dirty. Couldn't use them. 3rd: The coffee table in the living area had some kind of sticky substance on it. 4th: The balcony chairs each had what appeared to be candy bar chocolate (we think). 5th: The door going out on the balcony was so difficult to open that one of our party couldn't even open or close it. How pathetic! 6th: The clothes dryer didn't dry. Repairman sent to correct couldn't fix it and left with the clothes washer not working either. 7th: The tv in the guest room wouldn't work. The repairman sent to fix it had to reprogram the Cox box to correct it. He was successful. 8th: The floors throughout the unit were filthy. In talking to Mackenzie about the issues, she said she would have a cleaning crew to get it cleaned up. They never showed. We had to live among the filth for our entire stay. 9th: The microwave oven had had something explode inside it and was not thoroughly cleaned before we arrived. 10th: For the heck of it I'll bring up the nasty refrigerater. While it did keep stuff cold inside, it was so rusted inside and out we were hesitant to put anything inside it. It should be replaced. Now the good...the location was perfect.

The condo we were in was not in very good shape and uncomfortable kitchen was in horrible condition pots and pans and everything was barely even usable beds were old and squeaky and uncomfortable needs a lot of tlc and completely updated kitchen utensils pots pans kitchenware everything this could be really nice if updated to be functional and comfortable one other thing that really is a problem is nobody on site to help you with anything this is a very difficult and stressful situation for many people

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great location with beautiful views from each side. Close to restaurants and shopping. Even though there was a street between the property and the beach, traffic wasn't to bad and drivers were generally considerate to stop and let people cross. Our room could have used a deep clean, and several items were not in working order - 2 of the TV's (although we didn't spend much time watching), the iron and hair dryer. Also, the kitchen isn't stocked for the amount of people for the room - if 8 people can stay in the room, there should be a minimum of 8 spoons, forks, plates, ect. Two restaurants that were especially delicious was Popano Joe's Seafood House - about a mile down the beach (don't let the parking lot scare you away) and Fat Clemenzas - an italian restaurant. Check in/out was very easy, but didn't see any property staff during our stay.

Reviewer Comments: There was no shampoo, conditioner, no hand soap, only body bars. Not enough towels and no complementary laundry soap. Whole place should be updated every bed squeaked really bad and the whole place wasn’t cleaned well. Fridge and stove was dirty. Tvs outdated. No one works at the desk upfront. I saw one security guard the whole time while being here. Pull out couch also super squeaky. Location was great view was great.

My family and I, (7of us) stayed at this property October 8-12, 2020. I never received the code for check in, also the condo apparently was on hold for maintenance, therefore we checked in late. I had to call Seascape, in order to find out any information regarding the access code. The dishwasher had water still inside the dishwasher on arrival, also we ran it once and most of the pre packaged dishwashing detergent did not come out of the container and the dishes did not get washed, the floors were covered in sand, there was old receipts and trash behind the dresser in the master, the couches as well as the beds were very uncomfortable. Also, there were not a lot of baking sheets to actually cook things in the oven. I am not one to post bad reviews and my family and I are all very laid back and stuff like this normally doesn’t bother us, but we were dissatisfied with our stay at this particular condo. I hope that in the future, some of these complaints will be addressed.

Fantastic

Every thing about unit was good. it was clean...beds were comfortable...plenty of dishs/pot and pans ...the dryer did make a loud noise and would of been nice to have a tv guide but overall enjoyed our stay would definetly rent this unit again !
