Relaxing beauty in the White Mountains

My husband and I enjoyed your lovely abode on Forest Lake. The views were awesome, and we had all the comforts of being at home. The weather was great for biking the Presidential Rail Trail and walking at the State Park just down the road. The fireplace was nice to come home to at night.(we did obtain a permit and purchased wood) The loons were fun and entertaining to watch from the amazing porch. There's nothing like being surrounded by mountains and mother nature to relax into. Thanks for having us!

A few friends and family stayed here and we had the absolute best time! It was such a beautiful lake house and had everything we needed and more! I thought it was going to be hard fitting 8 people in 1 house but it was perfect! The sunset on the lake was stunning! Will definitely be back!

Gorgeous house on a beautiful lake

We were delighted with how new and well outfitted the house is. Loved the large screen porch with 4 rocking chairs and all the Adirondack chairs on the wharf. The bright yellow chairs on the wharf were so cheerful and made it easy to find our way back when out on the lake. Great access to the water, both from the large U-shaped wharf and from steps down to shallow sandy lake edge. On a cool night, it was so nice to have an working inside fireplace. The beds were comfortable - though we didn't try the bunk room, which looked most suitable for children. We had 2 couples and a signle adult, which worked well with the 2 upstairs queen-sized rooms and the 1st floor bonus room. I think it is called a bonus rather than a bedroom only because it does not have a closet. Nice big propane grill in a roofed pavilion. Our weather was cool and a bit damp, so we didn't use the outdoor fire ring, but looked nicely set up. Also has a nice outdoor dining table. We were delighted with how quiet the lake and neighborhood were - we were there for a week in mid-June. There was a loon pair nesting and we enjoyed frequent loon sightings and calls. Very comfortable and pretty house for 3 couples.

Family vacation

The house and property was just perfect for 7 adults and 6 kids. The house was comfortable, welcoming and had all of the amenities that you could possibly want or need. The outdoor spaces were wonderful as well. Amazing place!

Beautiful View

The view and proximity to the lake was all you would expect when you say lake house. The house was very nice. Master bedroom view was just amazing. The mattress not so much but would not take a star away because it may just not be the mattress for us. Thank you for the stay

Wonderful space for Groups

The house is the ideal open floor plan for groups who enjoy spending time together cooking , eating , and playing games ! The only qualm I had is with the bunk-beds - they are not suitable for anyone taller than 5’8 and should be advertised as sleeping arrangements for children not adults.

Great time away on the lake!

We had a wonderful few days at this house and really enjoyed being able to walk right out and enjoy the lake! House was beautiful and the property was perfect for our stay.

Beautiful!

Beautiful, clean house right on the water. Perfect for a quiet get away! The house was very clean and had everything you needed. The water in mid June was clear and the perfect temperature. We sat on the dock most of the day reading and swimming. Great Lake for kayaking! Beautiful views of the lake and short distances to great hikes. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful location and property for families

Two families, skiing at Bretton Woods, stayed at this clean and inviting home during February vacation week. Only a 25 minute drive to the mountain in a beautiful area of Whitefield. There was enough room to spread out for the 3 kids and 4 adults. Wood burning fireplace was a bonus. Kitchen was well equipped. Awesome mudroom to store ski boots and bags. We’d love to return in the summer and enjoy the lake!
