Fun stay with golf carts

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was well maintained and clean. Very much enjoyed the community. It was fun to have 2 golf carts to go to the 2 shopping complexes and especially enjoyed getting to the beach via golf carts. Plenty to explore and close proximity to the trails and beaches of Topsail park as well. Would have been helpful to have salt/pepper, coffee pods, etc to start us off for the stay, but the Publix is nearby by golf cart and Walmart was just down the street.

Family Vacation Success

Reviewer Comments: The home was comfortable and allowed easy access to everything we cared to do; shopping, play at Baytowne, eating all the good seafood we could handle. And we celebrated a two year olds birthday and played a lot of family games. The only down side was limited internet access. I am a real estate agent who requires access at all times. And sending and receiving information became a burden. We also lost all TV for the last day and 1/2 and received no help or discount for the loss of this amenity from Vacation Haven.

Reviewer Comments: The home was great but make sure to take pictures of everything on arrival and before departure because Myvacation haven will charge you for golf cart damages without your knowledge. We did not do damage on the golf cart but how do we prove it? Take pictures when you arrive and before your departure.

Brand new cookware (Blue Diamond!) and loads of dishes, etc.Also, the responsiveness of the staff was exceptional. We interacted with three different workers and everyone was fast in responding, got the jobs done and were polite too boot. The glass ware and dishes were none too clean, but the house itself was spotless.

Already Are Planning Our Next Stay!

This place is amazing! We have stayed in in other properties in Baytowne but this was the best! Cleanliness, beds are comfortable & the golf carts were an added plus. We plan on staying at this property annually. The decor and furnishings are perfect and love the vibe. Our best friends & our son joined us for our stay & we are already planning next year's trip. Thank you for making our vacation memorable!

Property is great, HOA not so much

$100 fine from HOA at 5:30 in the morning with no warning or request to move vehicle. The width of a tire was off the pavement. Other than the HOA being nit picky, this property was well kept, well supplied kitchen, perfect for our large group. Golf carts were great to get to Baytowne and the beach. The pool was nice for the day we didn’t feel like hauling everything to the beach.

Nice condo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the inside of the condo and the use of a golf cart. The home is well-appointed and has fabulous bathrooms. The downside (though no fault of the owner) was the new condo going up on the lot next door. Gas fumes, dust and noise precluded using either the front or back porch except in the evenings after the workers left. That compromised our enjoyment significantly. No way could we have an afternoon barbecue with scaffolding in arms reach nor could be have windows open on nice breezy days. Rental agency said they "had no control" over neighboring property so we had to make do.The builder did give us three night's compensation but as I told him it wasn't about money. It was about having a quiet, peaceful dust-free respite which was rendered not possible on most days. The ads for the condo were misleading. They showed a nice green lawn next door. Not the case! Also, overall the properties in Villa Lago seem too tightly packed together anyway, especially true of the new structure sandwiched in between our rental and the builder's home on the other side of the one under construction.

Great stay

Although we only used one golf cart, had it been warm and not raining then we would have used both. The front tire was very low on the one in the garage. I am sure Vacation Haven would have aired it up if needed. I did tell them at check out. We left behind a new pair of my son’s shoes in he closet, hoping the cleaning crew turns them in. I have called a few times.

Great stay- false advertisement

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is absolutely fabulous! It was nearly a perfect stay. Two golf carts were advertised. When I arrived the young gentleman told me had to take the keys to one because of two balding tires and a corroded battery. I spoke with the manager and was told I would receive a call the next day. No call came. I reached out multiple times during my stay and never received a response. As I was leaving I found a note telling the manager to replace these items on the golf cart 3 days prior to my arrival. I have spoken with one manager and was told the property manager would call me; however, I have yet to receive that call. It is really too bad because everything else about this place was perfect. The location was great! The place was beautiful! The beds were extremely comfortable.

Wonderful stay in Sandestin

We would love to stay in this Villa Lago unit again! Listing pictures are accurate. We had plenty of dishware, cookware, and flatware for our large group. The tire on one of the golf carts was flat, and the management company was there in less than an hour to fix it. We rode the golf cart to the beach, visited Baytowne Wharfe, played pickleball at the tennis center, and played lots of games (scattergory, Uno, puzzles) on the dining room table. Communication with the management was excellent. Overall, it was a great vacation!

Bachelorette trip

This house was perfect for 6 women to stay in for 5 days. Everyone had plenty of room. The bathrooms were amazing and everything was so spacious. We will be booking again with this unit on our next trip to Sandestin.

Family/Friends vacay

The house was extremely nice. We had two families staying in the house with a total of 7 people. There was plenty of room, it never seemed crowded. The golf carts were very handy for getting around, especially to the beach. The beach closet was definitely a plus as well, they provided all things for the beach including plenty of chairs. The kitchen was fully stocked for any cooking needs. It was a great vacation!

Great Property and Stay

We had a great stay! The house was nice and clean just as advertised. It was a very beautiful place with lots to.do around. While not a huge issue, I wish there is more information about the area such as how to get to the beach, what road allow golf carts and those that don't, and more about local activies/amenities. I just wish there was a binder left at the property with this information so we didn't have to spend as much time as we did on our phones. Regardless, not enough to not give this place and the people who run it a 5 star review. We will be back. Super nice, super clean, and a great location.

This property was great. It couldn’t have been in a more perfect location. You really don’t have to leave the area to do anything. There is plenty to do for adults and children. The golf carts are a must and a great benefit included in the rental. I can’t wait to return here.
