Lovely unit on 5th hole of golf course. Very very clean easy move in great condition and responded to any questions quickly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed a family vacation at this rental. We found Villa Lago 1864 to be accurately depicted in the rental description, and the property to be clean and well-maintained. Upon arrival we identified an issue on the property and the team at My Vacation Haven were professional with resolving it. We prepared meals on the premises so there are ample pots, pans, etc. However, we had to purchase salt & pepper, spices, and coffee filters which we have found in other rental properties that we have stayed in the past. My Vacation Haven provides an initial supply of cleaning items for the kitchen and each bathroom had an initial supply of soap, lotion, and shampoo & conditioner which was a nice touch. We enjoyed the use of the golf carts which were in great shape. An added bonus was to stay here over New Year's Eve so we were able to enjoy a fireworks show and drone show hosted by The Village of Baytown Wharf. Overall, we would recommend this place to others and would stay here again.

A little disappointed

Overall the unit was nice and spacious and we enjoyed our time. My issues are: The 6 seater golf cart pictured, and that was promised, was not available. The 4 seater was inconvenient due to the position the aback seats face, No one wanted to ride backwards and not enjoy the scenery. The unit was infested with ants in the kitchen. Lastly, there are no shades or anything on the front or back doors of the unit. Neighbors and anyone that went by could look directly inside the unit. We had to put up sheets to cover the doors. Other than that. We had a great time and I would return

Reviewer Comments: Facility was fine. we did have significant disappointment with a golf cart. We were informed the day our stay began that one of the carts was broken and a part was ordered to fix. we went the entire week without that golf cart. No accomodatiions were made for this inconvenience. We specifically rented the facility for two golf carts and your company offered no adjustment for this which was extremely disappointing.

Sandestin Resort- ❤️

This is our 3rd year coming to Miramar Beach and staying in Sandestin Resort! We love it and will be coming back again next year. My vacation haven is really top notch in handling the properties. It's always sad to leave!

Beautiful Home despite My Vacation Haven’s lack of Communication

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful home and location despite My Vacation Haven’s poor communication. I understand the rental agreement specifies we are not guaranteed a golf cart however, vacation haven told us the day before we arrived the 6 seater cart was being fixed. I received a call the next day saying the golf cart was expected to be fixed very soon. Three days into our vacation we never heard from Vacation Haven until we called them. They continued to make excuses saying they would check and would call us back. That never happened. With two elderly people and 2 small children we constantly had to load everyone in the car for the entire week. I had read the bad reviews about My Haven but disregarded in hopes of a better outcome. After we made many calls we were finally refunded $126.00 for the week missing the 6 seater golf cart. Also, TV in living area didn’t work. If possible I would highly recommend renting from another company.

Absolute FASLE Advertising and never notified

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were mislead and lied to concerning the amenities. When we got there, there was only one 4seater golf cart and was supposed to have two carts which caused so may issues with the size of our group. According to My Vacation Haven amenities are not guaranteed , one of the amenities listed was 4 bedrooms so you may get there and only have 2 bedrooms according to My Vacation Haven--We called to get help the first day and were told the problems were out of their control. Either the Property owners were lying or the My Vacation Haven was. and we hve screen shots that this has been going on for 2 months prior to our stay.

Convenient and Beautiful property.

We stayed here for a conference that was being held at the Hotel Effie. The house was extremely convenient since we were able to take the included golf cart or walk to the Hotel. The layout of the house was efficient and we enjoyed having private bathrooms for each bedroom. The rainshower showers were a plus!

Almost perfect

Positives - The house was very nice and just as described and pictured in the listing. It was very clean, which isn't always the case when renting pet friendly homes in our experience. The A/C worked great upstairs and downstairs, no hot spots! Communication with the management staff was very easy and convenient, and they were quick to respond to all of our inquiries. The location in Sandestin is great. Negatives - The only negative is that the 6-seater golf cart was out of service during our entire stay. We had a large group and purposely chose a home with two golf carts. We've stayed in Sandestin many times and have never had golf cart issues. Management kept us updated on the repair status but unfortunately it couldn't be fixed in time for our stay. This was a big disappointment for us.

Nice property, great location.

This is a very nice house in Villa Lago. We usually try to stay in this neighborhood when we visit Sandestin. The beds were comfortable, the house is spacious and we enjoy being on the golf course. We were extremely disappointed that we booked this house for the use of two golf carts and there was only one. I would've expected the property manager to reach out to us to offer us a loaner or some type of adjustment for not getting what we had paid for. No one ever reached out. I did not want to spend my vacation trying to contact them. I feel like they should have been proactive and contacted us. We are a family that heads in two directions (beach and golf course) and always look for properties with two golf carts. But I don't want to take away from the beauty of this home due to the lack of communication and concern on behalf of the property management. I did email them on the last day of our trip and still have not heard back.
