We stayed here while visiting my parents at another lake in the area. Pretty much just slept here. Listing should indicate that there is a full time tenant upstairs. No issues as he was gone for the weekend. Lock on the cottage door could use some attention as it was tricky to lock. Cottage was a perfect home base. Biggest issue (no fault of owner) was the access gate to parking did not lift up several times during our stay. First time the gate keeper had to use a key to open it, second time my boyfriend used his MacGyver skills to open it…Owner is excellent with communication and easy to work with.

Absolutely loved this adorable home. Perfect for our little group of travelers. We were in town for a music festival that took place in Hastings, MI. Perfect location for taking in some local,fun entertainment with some real friendly local folks..

The cottage is very cute with a nice view of the lake in a quiet park. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. Would do it again I. A heartbeat!

A lovely place

We stayed at this very well-appointed cottage for a week. It had everything we needed and then some! We were somewhat disappointed there was no beach at the property but we could still enjoy swimming in front of the cottage. Now if we could have just caught some more “Keepers” when we fished……..!

This property was absolutely wonderful. And our host was so helpful and nice. Waking up right on the lake was amazing. Renting the pontoon was an absolute great chose it was so much fun.

Great cottage and great fishing!

The cottage's layout is open, the kitchen is roomy with updated appliances. It has a full size bathroom, comfort height toilet and a tub with attached shower head. The bedrooms were larger than I expected and we felt comfortable and safe sleeping there. There is a small area that can be used for swimming and Jody also offered us the use of her kayaks. A deck is situated in front of the cottage right up to the water with a bench and nearby fire pit. The cottage does sit close to a public boat launch but we didn't experience any problems with this setup or were inconvenienced in anyway by anyone using the launch. Delton is off of the beaten track and the restaurants nearby very reasonably priced. My children and I enjoyed our stay very much! My son especially enjoyed the fishing! There is a dock outside of the cottage that you can fish from and they were biting!! All in all I would definately recommend this cottage!
