Amazing Spring Break Stay at Turquoise Place!

Our family had a fantastic spring break getaway at Turquoise Place in Orange Beach, and we’re already talking about coming back to this exact unit next year! The resort itself is incredible — the amenities are top-notch, and there’s so much to enjoy on-site.Our kids especially loved the indoor pool, which was perfect since the outdoor pools were still a bit chilly in early April. And the beach access couldn’t have been easier — just a quick walk and you’re right on the sand. It made beach time with little ones a breeze.The unit was spacious and comfortable for our family, and although it could use a bit of maintenance here and there, nothing at all interfered with our stay. Everything we needed was there, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to any families looking for a fun, relaxing beach vacation!

Great place to stay!

Unit was clean and had ready to go! Only a few things I woukd add,plastic plates and cups for kids, more/better quality towels! It was a great stay! Will definitely stay again!

Lovely vacation home

I loved the view. The condo had so many things you can do there. They had exercise rooms, multiple pools the slide waa great. The restaurant near the pool was lovely. Security around the condo was nice you felt safe there. I would highly recommend this place

Very nice resort

The resort is very nice and upscale. The grill on the deck is very convenient however it was difficult to shut off and had a small gas smell. This particular condo had dirty floors and repairs that were unfinished with the side of the master tub exposed. Otherwise it was very nice.

Satisfactory

The condo was not clean and had the minimal requirement for necessities provided. We were not told in advance that some amenities were closed (e.g., lazy river). Staying on the 4th floor made all the difference! Highly recommend the 4th floor.

Great place

Great condo. Huge and great sized rooms. Cleaning crew needs to try to do a better job on the cleaning but overall great trip. Nice furniture but some pieces need work as they are getting loose and falling apart. Not a lot of kitchen items but we made due. We would def rent again if these issues would please be addressed.

Great Time!

We come every year to Orange Beach and this was the best stay yet. This condo really has it all. The hot tub and grill on the balcony are the best. We like to bring in local seafood and cook in the condo and this was the absolute best. The hot tub is great for folks like me who love the beach but hate to actually be on the beach. (Sand!). The resort is great. Lots of new amenities and all very convenient. I love the assigned parking that based on design, are all close to an elevator that will take you very close to your room. They do seem to take a while for as many as they are and it was not really at peek during our stay. Over all this was the best stay we've had after many years of traveling to OB. We are already looking at dates for for next year.

Good….could be great

Pros: Great size condo, beach is great, nice complex! Cons: There was mold all over both tiled showers (very gross) and mold that came out of the jets in tub in the 3rd bathroom. This needs attention asap. They also could use a new mattress in the master. It seems very old and has huge indentations

Very nice but a few cosmetic issues

Beautiful condo but we paid alot of money for the tub in the master bath to have the tile removed from one whole side. Let the property manager know and they said they would get back with us but never did. Also there was not one towel hanger in any of the bathrooms. Other than this we had a great stay.

Great Location

I'll start with the good news about this condo. Turquoise Place has alot of great ammenities. The pools were beautiful the slide was alot of fun and everything was clean. The condo itself had plenty of room. The sofa was the most comfortable thing in the condo. Now for the not so good things. The bed were VERY uncomfortable. None of us had a good night sleep while we were there. The kitchen is really lacking some items and not very well stocked. The fridge was a subzero fridge and was extremely hard to get open. There are no towel hooks in the bathrooms to hang your towels after a shower. No beach towels were provided. It was really just missing some touches that I was used to in other rentals we have rented. I would probably not stay in this unit again but would stay in Turquoise Place.

Needs some TLC by the owner!!!

There were several things in the condo that needs to be fixed. Broken and worn out chairs in the living area, bar, and deck. Broken slats in the bed room with double beds. The beds also need bed springs. Kitchen needs some new cookware. And all the bathrooms need towel bars and towel hooks. There is no place to put wet towels. However, I must admit, the rental company Vacasa was great to work with. I love Carly! I hope the owner reads this and makes some changes to the condo to make it more comfortable for future guests.

Great location and view!

The condo was very nice. Location was great and view was amazing! Condo was well stocked with all the you needed to cook. We had a few maintenance issues but they were fixed promptly. Condo was very clean on arrival.

Never again

Be forewarned! Years worth of dust on ceiling fans. The baseboards have been pulled off the walls in many places with nails sticking out of the walls where the baseboards once were. Half the cabinets were peeling laminate and/or broken. The furniture was all cheap, uncomfortable, and most of it was broken in places.The showers all had YEARS worth of mold and mildew. The balcony hot tub water was green and Vacasa wouldn’t approve a “drain and refill” with the building maintenance crew even though they recommended it twice. This is a very nice, high end resort that we paid top dollar for. The resort is very nice. But I will NEVER stay in this unit or any other managed by Vacasa. The Vacasa people refused to call me back for days and, after all of this (I had to send them pictures of everything multiple times), their only answer was to refund my cleaning fee plus a little bit extra. Completely unacceptable given how much we paid! This unit should never have been rented in the first place, much less at the rate they charged. Worst. Experience. Ever with a VRBO property. VRBO should really consider pulling all Vacasa managed properties. That’s how bad it was!

Here’s a challenge for the owners

The owners need to stay there for a week to determine they have what they need. There was only one small pan , now there is four as we had to go buy pans which we left We also had to h buy fora now there are 16 new forks we also had to go buy mixing bowls with lids which we left, we bought a wine opener, ,kitchen scissors and several other items which we left as well The master bed mattress sinks down to the springs it is fine for a new one And the beds on the two beds bedroom also needs to be replaced We were surprised that after spending over 9k the condos kitchen would not have been so sparse or the beds would have been more comfortable. We enjoyed going on the 4th week we will be back on the fourth but not in that condo

Romantic Getaway

It was very easy to get to and a great location. I loved spending time with my husband in a spacious, beautiful condo. The only downfall was the smaller tv in the master bedroom 😂
