Awesome beach house!

We really enjoyed our stay here for the Labor Day weekend! It’s was perfect for our mini family vacay. The beach was just a few steps away. Everything was great about the house. We will definitely stay again!

We would stay there again, but there needs to be some updates first.

The house is in a gated community, basically on the beach, with a pool, tennis courts, and grills. Perfect location.

Great neighborhood with front beach access.

This was our second time staying in this neighborhood. If I’m ranking on location and cleanliness, the home gets a 5 star review. However, the condition of this home is poor for the price. I have been vacationing in OBA for over 40 years and the furniture, mattresses and living room furniture are so rickety and outdated. The sofa has a wood beam behind your legs when you sink into the hole that is supposed to be a sofa. Kitchen was well stocked with all dishes and pans needed. I would stay here for location but only if I could tell that the furniture had been replaced. It was just so uncomfortable everywhere you went. No good sitting chairs. Everything is hard wicker with old stained throw pillows for cushions. I just think that for the price of the rental, it should be better than thrift store furniture.

Great experience!

Beautifully decorated, clean property in great location with wonderful pool and beach access. Wi-Fi was a little slow, one stove burner did not work, and ice maker slowed ice production near end of our stay, but otherwise everything was perfect!! The house had everything we needed, TVs were great, beds and sofas/chairs were comfortable, kitchen well-equipped, we loved it!!

Nice house for a large family

There was plenty of room. There was a variety of pans, etc for cooking. Safe for small children due to gate and low volume of traffic. Ease of getting to beach and pool. The space under the house was great for getting out of the sun and allowing the small children to place even when it was raining.

Orange was Gold

Friends and I attended a motorcycle rally in the area. The house was amazing. The location was perfect. The people around us were very nice. The secured gated access was comforting. Each room has its own bathroom which made things easy and private. Orange Beach was spectacular. You won’t go wrong here.

Spring Break Family Vacation

We loved the spaciousness of the home and having a bathroom in every bedroom was a huge plus! The closeness to the beach was wonderful. Our kids loved the pool and tennis courts as well. The home had many nice decks to relax on. The kitchen was stocked nicely as well although we did not do too much cooking. The only negatives were regarding cleanliness but the owner responded quickly and offered to have someone come back out. We enjoyed our vacation and look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

Great location

I love the location of this house in Orange Beach! There are only 16 houses in this complex which was only half full when we were there. It was also a quiet location. It’s convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, and the State Park. The white sandy beaches are beautiful! I’m only giving 4 stars because I feel the house needs some updates. The guest room mattresses are wore out and the living room furniture could use updating. I would still recommend staying here.

Great location

We loved the location! Easy access to the beach walking through the complex and down the boardwalk! We took our bikes and were able to ride down the main road about a quarter of a mile to get on the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trails which was by the bike rental store. Great walking and bike riding trails! There are a lot of restaurants nearby, but we bought seafood from Blaylock’s, and cooked our own meals ( a lot easier than taking a two and a four year old out to eat)! The kitchen was well equipped with most stuff we needed. We couldn’t find dry measuring cups, or a good cutting knife, and the electric can opener didn’t work very good, but there were several manual can openers. Overall the house could use some updates. We all had a great vacation!

House was nice

Had problems getting the hot water tank problem fixed. Took four days for someone to finally come out. So there were 9 of us using 1 shower. The cold water faucet was not working properly until day 4 either. It is need of some kitchen upgrades. TV ‘s are small but not there to watch tv. Bring your own grill. No large pot for a shrimp boil. Would I rent again? Yes

Some what disappointed

Location was good but lots of things not working in the house and house was not very clean. Stove burner didn’t work dishwasher did not work shower took forever to drain blood on rug and side of cabinet railing bars on porch broke but they provided some dish soap paper towels toilet paper and towels and wash cloths I hate giving this review but owners don’t realize things are not being cared for

Great location, but mediocre stay.

We've been to the Orange Beach area before and knew we would come back again! This gated housing area is great - we would definitely stay in this area again and would recommend it to anyone. However, this house was not cleaned well and very outdated. I read some reviews prior to booking and outdated houses have never bothered me in the past. Maybe it was the dirty floors and unvacuumed carpet that elevated the outdatedness. We contacted property management about the issue and were told they'd have someone reach out about coming to the house to clean. 2 days later we had to reach out again to receive the same response. At this point we had 1 day left of our stay. Bring your own cleaning supplies if you stay here. Also, make sure to bring your own beach chairs, sand toys, etc if you have room. There were none at the house which was inconvenient to purchase and then shove in our already packed car going home. The outdoor was not heated - I'm sure that is no problem in summer but for spring break it was too cold even for the kids to suffer and get used to after a few minutes. On a positive note the neighborhood is beautiful - hope property management makes updates to this house and their cleaning crew so this house can join the other beautiful ones in this gated area!

Not what i expected!!

First off, for the property being in the location and surrounding properties. I was not expecting what we found during our stay. Pulling into the gated community we were all in awe of this place. But that was short lived after we walked into a filthy, dirty house. Not to mention the roaches all over the kitchen and downstairs bathroom. There was food left all over the walls, floors of the kitchen and dining room. The floors, chairs and counters were covered in sand and food. The dining room table was so filthy, with food and drinks spilled all over and left. This is after the "cleaning" crew was supposedly there until 4pm. We had to rewash all of the cups and dishes just to be able to use one. We were scared to use them so we grabbed paper plates and plastic cups. The master bathroom had hair all over the floor, you could tell the floors had not been cleaned between stays. When we tried to sweep the floors all the hair stuck to the floors from all the pee and splash from the toilet. The bathrooms smelled like pee that had been there for a while. The neighborhood was beautiful, well mancured, clean, and quiet. That lasted one day after the neighbors checked in for their bachlor party of 12, all at the ages of around 25 to 30. They would drink all day and night. Staying up until 4am most "mornings", yelling and fighting each other. I was so ready for this vacation, until the vacation started and i was ready to leave after the second day. I would not stay again!

Perfect for multi-family trip

We had 6 adult college friends, and a combined mix of two 5 year olds, two 3 year olds, one 11 month old, and one 4 month old. My family had one 5 YO and one 3 YO who slept in the bunk room, so we took the smaller queen bedroom so that our friends could have space for their pack and plays. There was a TON of space in each of their rooms even with them folded out. The 5 YOs and 3 YOs slept two to each bunk every night of the trip, so it allowed us to put them to bed and sit outside on the porch with monitors and catch up into the evening. The location is wonderful - close to everything you might be interested in. We did Gulf State Park one day and it was a 5 minute drive, for example. A small neighborhood Walmart was 5 minutes away and we had groceries delivered multiple times without issue. The set up of the houses is the true gem, though. There's an oval shaped gated drive that has all 10ish houses facing inwards towards a tennis court and a pool. Each house seemed to hold large family gatherings too, so there were kiddos everywhere at all times and we had fun watching them play tennis every evening. The grounds are well maintained and the pool is awesome. The walk to the beach is extremely short... like 2 minutes. There's a couple of steps up to the walkway and down to the beach, but it was easy to pick up our wagon and put it back down each time. There's also a great shower to use at the end before exiting onto the drive to remove all sand. The house came with no laundry supplies and few dish supplies, so just plan to buy those as a house of 6 adults and 6 kids created a LOT of dishes, laundry, and trash. Dishes and kitchen utensils were exactly what we needed. All in all, we left talking about how much we loved our stay and whether it would become an annual tradition. I'm sure there are fancier and newer homes, but this was perfect for our lowkey multi-family beach trip.

Beautiful beach

House was outdated. Master bath toilet issue, fridge had missing shelves and duct tape. Table leg was coming off, but we tightened. Little things that could be taken care of with some TLC. Property manager already knew of an issue and had it taken care of. Very great in that aspect.
