Long weekend in Topsail
The view of the ocean from the house's two decks was outstanding, and the constant sound of the surf breaking on the beach was very relaxing. We spent most of our time watching and listening to the surf, walking on the beach, and cooking in the kitchen.
The house itself was nicely furnished and immaculately clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. We cooked constantly, and once we visited "Splash by the Sea," a nice beachfront restaurant a five-minute walk from the house.
A few basic provisions we expected were missing, like garbage bags and dishwasher detergent, but it wasn't much of a hassle - the nearest grocery was only a few minutes away by car.
The host also responded within minutes by phone when we had trouble turning on the exterior lights by the pool and grill - he walked me through turning them on over the phone - problem solved.
We had a great time enjoying the sight and sounds of the ocean and the luxury of staying in this beautiful beachfront home.
