Peaceful Experience!

We were in the area for a 2-day conference in the Answers Center at the Ark Encounter. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the Country's Edge #2! The location was perfect; close enough to the Ark, yet out on the beautiful rolling countryside. We didn't have any trouble with our stay and what little conversation we had with the host went very well. Our only regret is that we never had enough time to just veg out! We would have enjoyed sitting around a campfire or just relaxing under the porch roof, especially during a rainstorm! The Bible references on the wall are a great touch; thanks for the encouragement!! We would definitely stay here again - God Bless YOU!

Ark Get Away

We had an awesome time. The home is as pictured and clean. Seemless check in and check out.Added bonuses: 3 very friendly cats & 1 shy kitten, neighbors' dog, goats, cows and donkeys that let us pet them!

Lovely stay

4 ladies staying for a women's conference at the Ark encounter. Beds were comfortable. The place was clean. Lots of winding roads to get there, but it's worth the drive!

I am looking forward to booking more stays at this location.everything about it was perfect. My next visit I will be staying longer and just relaxing..I would like to recommend this place to everyone but I don't want it to become to popular so when I go it is available.It was just that great of a stay..I have traveled with jobs ect, so I am familiar with all types of hiccups' and unfortunate things that can happen and everything went smooth,this place had such peace about it..

Perfect

We are animal lovers. It was an added bonus to discover the cats. The place was adorable and perfect for the needs of 6 ladies visiting for the Women’s Conference at the Ark.

Pleasantly Peaceful

This home was pleasantly peaceful. Active days at the Ark and Creation Museum followed by peaceful evenings on the farm. Enjoyed seeing the animals in the surrounding pastures. Comfortable beds and a clean home made for a 12/10 stay!!!

Relaxing at its finest

We had such a wonderful relaxing time at your place. Sitting out at night by the firepit and looking up at the stars, quietness at its best. Some of the most beautiful sunrises to enjoy coffee off the deck. We enjoyed watching the cats and kittens play outside. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was very clean. The distance was just perfect for visiting The Arc. We would definitely stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised

Larger than we had expected. More local flavor by being in the country. Even though my wife has cat allergies, the outdoor cats didn’t bother her.

Relaxing stay in the country

There was supposed to be 5 of us older ladies from our Bible Study but 2 had to cancel. We were all very pleased with the house and the surroundings. Had everything we could possibly need. Really enjoyed spending relaxing morning & and evenings on the beautiful back deck. Loved the country air. Beds were super comfortable. Everything in the house was beautiful. Definately would make a return trip.

Relaxing

This was a fantastic place to relax. It stormed so we couldn’t enjoy the fire pit, but it was set up nicely. We did enjoy the porch, especially watching the kittens play. Having fresh eggs and meat delivered was amazing! A good spot to relax after visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.

Serene and peaceful

We came here to visit The Ark. It was SO peaceful and relaxing! This space provided all the comforts of home and a safe space to kick back and relax. The views of the landscape and the roaming cattle beats staying in a hotel any day!

July 4th weekend stay

The house was great and very clean. It was perfect for everyone in my family. The property manager was great and very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It felt like a home away from home.

Great Place with Great Owners

This place is perfectly located near the Ark encounter. The interior of the house was beautiful. The back yard was set up great for sitting and enjoying the night sky. Would defiantly stay here again if back in this area!

Country's Edge II 6/5/24-6/9/24

We stayed at Country's Edge II with our 2 daughters, their husbands, and our 2 granddaughters during our vacation to visit the Arc Encounter. We live in a city environment so being in the country so near to farm animals was very enjoyable. The home is owned by the Stinson family who run a small cattle ranch adjacent to the rental and the cows and horses can wonder right up to the rental property. The home is exactly as advertised and it met all of our needs and expectations. If traveling through the area again we would definitely consider this beautiful rental property again. This property offered my family a unique opportunity to be able to share this home with like minded people that prefer to relax and appreciate the scenery while enjoying the unique comforts provided by our rural landscape. We also thoroughly enjoyed the thought of providing affordable vacation housing for families wanting to view the recreation of such an amazing biblical wonder. With it being conveniently located near our own residence it ensured that we could respond quickly and efficiently to guest's needs while allowing us to maintain our daily work schedules.
