For 7 of the past 8 years we have traveled from Kansas City to Phoenix to catch sunshine and Spring Training. We usually stay in a VRBO, and this was one of the better ones. The setting is lovely, right on the Legacy Golf Course. The residence was perfect for the two of us with a comfortable king bed and two separate sinks. According to my wife, the lighting for makeup was the best of any place we had stayed. Her only complaints were that the floor of the bath tub in the tub-shower was not cleaned well (probably because most people use only the shower) and the faucets dispensed a spray of water instead of a stream. If one wanted to do light cooking the kitchenette was perfect with an electric two-burner stove top, microwave, beneath-the-counter refrigerator, and coffee maker. To our pleasant surprise, a stacked washing machine and dryer were tucked in the closet. We relaxed on the patio that overlooked part of the golf course, and would have enjoyed it more were it not for the frequent rains during our stay. Our building was not well sound insulated, and at night we could easily hear people talking as though they were in the next room. That was annoying when we went to bed early on our last night to catch an early flight home. The property owner was WONDERFUL. She responded promptly to my messages, gave us ideas of things to do when the ball games were rained out, and was sincerely concerned that we were not able to get the sunshine and spring training we had hoped. We will definitely try to stay there again on our next trip to Phoenix.
