This house was a perfect choice for us and truly made our stay enjoyable. We especially loved spending time in the hot tub—it was our favorite part and a great way to relax. The location was also a huge plus, as it was close to everything and made getting around easy and convenient. Overall, it felt comfortable, well-situated, and exactly what we were looking for.

The Barefoot in was lovely, cozy, and close enough to everything we needed. Michell was a wonderful host, very responsive to our requests. We have stayed in a variety of VRBOs, and my husband said this was the best one yet.

Clean place, safe neighborhood. Close 10 min from UNR. Very Clean had plenty of pots pans spoons silverware. Beds were comfy. Easy in and out. Zero issues. We finished a puzzle and played some games that were provided. Very satisfied.

Wonderful location with shopping close by; easy access to all major roads; comfortable beds and well furnished kitchen. We ( 2 older women) felt comfortable and safe our entire visit. We really enjoyed the hot tub and backyard too.

To start off your listing by saying CLEAN is a stretch. The house was far from clean when we arrived. There was a clump of hair in the master shower drain, an empty soda bottle in one of the kitchen cabinets, and a fork in the same cabinet with food still hanging from it.As we went through the plates for our first dinner, we discovered that only the first plate had been cleaned—every other one was dirty. The same went for the frying pan and one of the pots.RELAXING is not the word I’d use to describe our stay. We had to chisel ice from the back of the fridge daily and bring in ice blocks just to keep it cool enough to store food.Eating outside wasn’t an option due to the overwhelming number of flies. I bought two rescue fly traps, four fly strips, and four fly swatters hoping we could enjoy a family meal outdoors. It didn’t work—the flies won.One of the outdoor couches broke apart in the middle when my son and granddaughter sat on it. Thankfully, no one was hurt. The front and back yards were unkempt and left a poor first impression.That said, the house itself is nice, and the pool—while very cold—was great. Michele, the owner, did communicate via text, which I appreciated.All in all, if they took the time to truly clean the house and make a few key improvements, it could be a great rental.

We loved the house! This was a great place to stay while in the area for Hot August Nights! The pool and backyard was a great place to relax in the evenings. If we are ever in the area again, this is definitely where we will want to stay.

Great place in Reno!

This house was perfect for our stay in Reno to visit family. It’s very comfortable and was conveniently located to many services. I’d love to come back when it’s warmer and use the pool! Communication with the owner was great! I’d definitely recommend this house for a stay in Reno.

Clean spacious quiet neighborhood

Our family loved this property. Spacious and clean. Neighborhood clean and quiet. House provided amenities to make our stay convenient and comfortable. I brought my own laundry soap and host provided it. Towels were perfect size some places provide smaller and thin ones. Kitchen was stocked with pots pans and all dishwares and eating utensils. There was also comolimentary toothpaste and toothbrushes. Each bedroom had own flat screen. 2 living rooms and spacious refrigerator. Kids loved hot tub and heated pool. My dogs love spending time front yard and backyard. There is a supermarket (Raley’s) cvs, post office, Starbucks, 7-11, gas station, 3mins away. Freeway access is very close. Chipotle, Jamba Juice, Cracker Barrel 5mins away

Ski-reunion 2025

We are a group of former US Army Paratroopers from the early 1980’s for a ski reunion. The host of the weekend lives right next door to the property and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the house and accommodations. The house was immaculately clean and the bedrooms spacious. The hot tub was fantastic to relax in after a day on the slopes. We are already planning our trip for next year and hope this place is available to us again. AATW

Wow what a great property!!!

This property was ideal, with an exceptional host. We were visiting Reno for a track meet with our daughter, and the ample space provided ample opportunity for relaxation and recovery after the demanding day on the track. Michelle was an exceptional host, responsive and accommodating. The house was well-equipped with all our necessities and provided ample room for my family. We will certainly consider booking again when there is another track meet in Reno.
