This was our third time at Splash and our 2nd time in a row at 1407 west. The condo is spacious and good location. Elevators worked great and Splash employees kept resort area looking nice. This was the 2nd year in a row tho that there were rats (not mice). Not in the condo!! But in the grass area outside of the resort pool area. Last year they were on east side (where lazy river is) and this year they were on west side (we did only see one this year) it came out when I had my backpack on ground while lounging in lawn chair. My husband chased it away and we never saw it again. Still pretty gross tho. Not sure what the rodent problem down there is but there is definitely one. No issues inside condo tho.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Splash is great for kids - our two year old loved the water slides and splash pad. The condo itself could have been cleaner/better maintained as there were crumbs and fridge was pretty dirty upon arrival but we were able to clean it up.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was just what our family needed—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We really enjoyed that while the property was busy, it never felt overcrowded, which made it relaxing for us. The pools were fantastic, and the easy access to the ocean was a huge plus.The only small downside was that the water in the kids’ slide area was very cold, which kept our 3-year-old from being able to enjoy it. We noticed other families saying the same thing, but of course that’s not the condo owner’s fault. Also, car toppers are not allowed in the parking garage. That was not noted in the listing. However, you can still park on the bottom floor behind Alvin’s which is under the parking garage. I just wanted people to know before they went. Overall, it was a great trip with a great room, great location, and lots of family fun. We would definitely come back!

Enjoyed our trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at Splash 1407. Condo was spacious. The only negative review I have is the dust. The blinds in the main Master have not been dusted in forever. The dust was very thick. Also, dust underneath both King beds. It needs a deep clean. Other than that, everything met our expectations and would definitely book again.

Family vacation

First time at Splash! Great set up for families with children. We all enjoyed our time there. Easy check in. Clean resort and condo. Great to have two bedrooms with king beds and both beachfront. Large balcony. Will definitely be back again!

Awesome for Families

We had so much fun at this condo! It fit our family of 6 perfectly, 2 adults and 4 younger children. We loved the space of the unit, loved the balcony and Splash Resort had a ton for families to do. We used the beach and the pools every day.

Excellent time

This is our second year staying at Splash, and we decided to splurge a bit by booking the two master bedrooms this time. It was absolutely worth it! Splash Resort is incredibly family-friendly, especially for younger children. I felt comfortable letting my 11- and 13-year-old enjoy the pools and visit the snack shop (serving donuts, ice cream, pizza, etc.) on their own. As for the room, while it wasn't terrible, it could have benefited from a deeper cleaning. There were a few minor issues like dirty window sills and some items left under the bed by previous guests. Despite these small inconveniences, we had a fantastic trip and are already looking forward to returning to PCB!

Beautiful Condo

I will start by saying that we stayed in Splash West. I always use VRBO but usually use an owner and not a company to order. I was very pleased with Emerald Destinations tho. I was a little hesitant since I’m used to dealing one on one with owners and not companies but it all went very smooth. Condo was exactly as described! Very clean and wonderful location! This was our 2nd time staying at Splash and we love it so I will say the condo itself was perfect…..However I do want to say this….when you stay at Splash you can use both the water slide side or the Riptide Bar/lazy river side. While we were at the lazy river side 2 LARGE RATS and yes I mean RATS kept coming out of the sand and going under peoples chairs getting food. It was absolutely disgusting. One of the splash workers came over and made a joke about it ….calling them their pets! I explained that RATS around the Riptide Bar area was extremely disgusting. Her comments was “well it is outside”. I said yes but they are coming right up to people around their bags and children’s toys. We never went back over to that side which was a bummer because we liked the lazy river but not dealing with rats. Several people got upset by it. I’m expecting there to be more reviews about that. Disgusting. But the other side was great and no rats!

We arrived after staff had left. No problem getting into room. Our condo wasn’t the cleanest & didn’t have a variety of cooking utensils. Other than that we had a beautiful ocean view and thoroughly enjoyed the pools & hot tub.

PCB fun at Splash!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The pool areas are a blessing for those with kids. Location is great, close to everything you need. Only negative would be the elevators…. Twice they broke during our week making a long climb up to the 14th floor.

Family Vacation

We had 8 in our group. Condo was spacious and laid out well. Kitchen had what you needed to cook and serve in. Bedrooms were a good size as well as bathrooms. The condo was very clean and well kept. The balcony was spacious and had a table and chairs on it. We liked it had twin bunk beds that were just right for our three and four year old. We enjoyed the little snack bar which served ice cream, pizza, doughnuts, wine slushes, dole whips, hot dogs, drinks , milk shakes, and breakfast pizza. The splash had two pools , a lazy river , a baby play area and a play area with different water features for children. Liked that some areas provided shade to sit under. Property had an outside snack area and the food was very good. Checking in was easy but there was a wait. Especially if you come right at 4 which is check in time. Most of the time you will wait on an elevator. There is only two per side. Overall the stay was great and I would recommend this unit and this facility to anyone.

Not happy with Host

Room was nice, only supply 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 paper towel, no other necessities, would never use Host Emerald Coast again, charged $56 to use credit card to reserve 😡 view was great but would not go back because of host, never returned calls

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Splash was great. Condo was perfect for us. It could be a bit cleaner. Guessing cleaners only have so much time to clean, but vacuuming under furniture and dusting should be part of the routine. Purchasing some new skillets wouldn't hurt either. But overall would stay again. The views are fantastic!
