Perfect weekend stay

We rented this cottage for a Christmas weekend at a family member’s house on a nearby lake. My only regret was that we weren’t able to spend more time here! Everything we needed was available and the cottage was very cozy, spacious and cute! Much better than renting a hotel as we usually do. Thanks for sharing your home!

Relaxing Stay

How soon can I move?`

If I had the means to buy this cabin and live here, I would. The view was breathtaking, the local food was delicious, and the peace was just what I needed. I can't wait to go back!

Wonderful!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Gorgeous views of the lake, especially with all the leaves changing! We enjoyed the games provided, and went kayaking as well. It is a very peaceful and quiet area with beautiful views all around. Holly is super nice and helpful, and responded very quickly to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet Relaxation

Not quite as nice as pics but very accommodating… Dock was a little sketchy but very good fishing and nice quiet lakeside stay.. Owner operator was very helpful and would recommend stay for a quiet relaxing vacation…

Lake vacation

We had a very relaxing stay! The place was nice and clean. There were plenty of water toys for the teens to stay busy. Loved the beach area! Holly was great to work with and help make our vacation great. The only way this place could be better would be to add a washer & dryer. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Amazing Rental!!

This rental was absolutely perfect. We had a large group of 7 but were able to fit everyone without feeling too crowded since everyone spent most of their time outside. Everything was clean and all of the appliances and kitchen equipment was available so that we were able to cook all of our meals there. The sandy beach was so much fun for everyone. The views were beautiful and all of the outdoor equipment included more than paid for the stay. So much fun!! The host was extremely accommodating and just all around awesome. I would highly recommend this rental, lake and property owner.

Cozy cabin getaway was exactly what we wanted

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the lake. The place was immaculately clean and made for a wonderful escape. Holly was wonderful and incrediblely helpful and the list of attractions to view was helpful as well. I would definitely recommend. My only note is to add Crows Nest to the list of attractions as the brunch there was wonderful!

Planning our next visit already!

What a quaint and lovely place! The house is nice and offers a lot of space to have fun indoors too! We had cold, freezing rain weather for 2 of the 4 days there. Didn’t stop us! We fished in the rain, played in the sand, played games inside, etc. when the weather cleared up we took out the peddle boat and explored the lake! Shallow for about 50+ feet which is perfect for swimming and playing in the water! The host was so gracious and understanding when i misunderstood to plan the fireplace prior to the stay. She still get us the special logs! So nice! In the later spring, summer I bet this entire location just glows! Woods everywhere. Different lakes everywhere. Long Lake is clear water and I can see it being a family place! My daughter and I want to come back when we do t have to do the polar plunge. Lol Fantastic experience. Eat local, shop local, such a quaint place!

Great Spring Break Weekend Getaway

A great stay. Holly was extremely responsive to all communications. The house was perfect for our family of four. It had everything we needed for our long weekend. Wish we could have enjoyed the lake, but Mother Nature didn't accommodate. So we were able to enjoy the Air Zoo (about 45 minute drive), Kalamazoo Valley Museum (about 30 minute drive) and the Nature Center (about 30 minute drive). We will be back so we can enjoy the beach and the outdoor water activities.

A great weekend getaway!

We had a great time away for the weekend and enjoyed the spectacular view of the lake! It was sunny too so we got a nice walk in along the water. The house was everything we had hoped for- super clean and had all the small kitchen appliances we could want too! The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the fireplace and watching the U of M/Mi State basketball game on the big tv screen too! Thanks so much for being such a great host! Holly worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed!

Great getaway!

This was just perfect for a weekend away. We enjoyed the view looking out over the lake. When we wanted a change of pace, we enjoyed antique shops that weren't very far away.

We've been living and vacationing on this lake for over 30 years and we absolutely love it! Originally from Chicago, my husband and I met on Long Lake as teenagers. Coming from the suburbs, I had no clue about lake living. Long Lake has always been our "special family place" to visit and the gorgeous water and shores are wonderful for every water activity you can imagine.

As a teen, my family vacationed on Long Lake every summer. The memories we made kept us wanting to return for more fun the next year. My husband grew up living on the lake and it is a wonderful place to vacation! The cottage is on a private road, so its quiet and in a very friendly community. We have made many friends here and our visitors love coming back and we hope you will have the same experience!

Gorgeous views, with private dock, propane grill, and fire pit. There are paddle boats, a floating raft, large beach, and huge deck. The lake is quiet all week, so perfect for a ride on a pontoon, speed boat, kayak, paddle boat or paddle board. There's even a sandbar a short distance away!!!! Message us and we will tell you more!
