Dob Cottageは快適な中庭にあるほとんど新しい石造りのコテージで、村の中心部から徒歩ですぐの場所にあります。 コテージは全ての改装が施されています。短所地域の典型的な特徴的な梁を持っています。 1階のベッドルームには、エジプト綿の寝具とポケットスプリングマットレスを備えた2つの快適な3ベッドベッド（ダブルに変換可能）が300/400スレッドカウントあります。 バスルームにはバスタブと独立したシャワーとトイレと洗面台があります。 Upstairsはオープンプランのキッチン/ラウンジエリアで、42インチ薄型テレビ、DVDプレーヤーなどのモダンな設備が整っています。
歩いて2分以内には、良いレストラン、テイク・アウェイ、お店、ATM、田舎の散策がたくさんあるので、車を使う必要はありません。 コテージのドアのすぐ外側に割り当てられた駐車場があります。
Holmfirthの魅力的な村には、数多くのおしゃれな小さなお店や食堂があり、車でわずか5分です。

We were made to feel very welcome in this warm and cosy cottage. The parking space was great and we were pleased and surprised to find so many good places to eat within a short work (especially Punch Tapas).Jenny has obviously gone out of her way to think of all the extra touches to make this and lovely place to stay. The property was fully equipped with everything you would need and more. Jenny is a super thoughtful host, and had a lot of little things available for you as guest that made it feel like home. I had an amazing stay. The property is very well located. Walking distance to restaurants, the grocery store and some pubs. Thank you again, I felt right at home.

What a beautiful little cottage this us. Right in the heart of the community of Honley. Close to lots of cafes shops and restaurants. Five minutes drive from Holmfirth where there is lots going on. Highly recommend. Jenny the owner could not have been more accommodating. 5*

Impractical for stays over one week because of inadequate laundry facilities, and no cleaning service provided during the stay. The overall property is not cleaned thoroughly and in general need of TLC and maintenance. This property is cramped for two people.

Wonderfully comfortable and fab location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is so central, the sun shines into the upstairs living area and the beds are so comfortable. Jenny is a gracious host and the location is central to all we wanted to do. Would definitely recommend, thank you Jenny .

Christmas break

Lovely cottage as described,village literally around the corner with some lovely restaurants and bars,nice little bakery and a co-op.Bus service regular into holmfirth,Huddersfield and the surrounding area.We went on a couple of walks which were lovely and picturesque.The cottage itself provided for everything a really nice place to stay,we actually enjoyed just watching Netflix and chilling out with host Jenny at hand should we have required anything.We will definitely return for more exploring or just to get away from it all and relax.

Simply but “Excellent”

My wife and I could not be happier with the stay at the cottage. It was a wonderful experience in such a beautiful town. We were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and snacks, which was a fantastic gift, especially after a long flight from the United States. The cottage was a home away from home with all the amenities needed for a home-like feeling. The host, Jenny, was great and responded quickly to our questions. The cottage's location was great, and there were many places to shop. We met so many wonderful people in the village and made many friends, especially at a local pub called Farmers Arms. We will definitely request to stay again when we come back to the U.K. Thank you Jenny for the great hospitality and memories.

Lovely bright and sunny house, great location.

Just right for a couple. Shops close by. Easy access to walks both with and without car. Also good bus and train service to Huddersfield/Manchester/Leeds etc. A lovely break. Very lucky with the weather.

Heavenly holiday

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the cottage from start to finish and am very much looking forward to going again. Jenny was a lovely host and welcomed me when I arrived to answer any queries etc. The accommodation is beautifully decorated with every comfort you could need and an air of tranquility. With lots of thoughtful welcome treats. The village is lovely with gorgeous walks and very accessible to a wide range of stunning places to visit.

Just a wonderful property. Tucked away in a nice quiet courtyard, but close to the centre of the village. it was the perfect base to do a couple of days walking in the area. Five stars for every aspect of this one. I will hopefully be revisiting in the future.

Perfect for our stay

We had a great experience staying at Dobb Cottage. Beautifully presented and clean. Beds were comfortable with a pillow choice. Lots of extras in cupboards and a much appreciated welcome pack. It felt like a home from home. Not sure why but I got the impression we would be entering straight into the bedroom but this door is securely locked and we used the door in to the courtyard where the car was parked. Quiet neighbourhood and friendly neighbours. Great pub down the road for dinner (Jacobs Well) but you'll likely have to book! Thank you Jenny

Dob Cottage - A hidden gem in Honley.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Easter weekend break in Dob Cottage. The cottage was extremely clean, very comfortable and had a real homely feel. Ideally situated for a variety of shops, eateries & pubs; and just a short drive away from Holmfirth, too. Jenny had very kindly provided “the essentials” along with some extra treats which was a really nice touch. Will definitely be booking a return visit, as soon as we can. Mary & Joe (Liverpool).

I have lived in this beautiful, rustic and friendly area now for 20 +years, and although I'm from "over the hills" they don't seem to hold it against me! I retired a few years ago, and that gave me the opportunity to start my little holiday let business which has been a dream of mine for some time. I live in close proximity to Dob Cottage and after driving around the North West as a self-employed rep. for many years, I am enjoying the delights of this area, with it's wonderful characters,scenery and "things to do".

I love this area because of the spectacular scenery, and the amazing wildlife. For birdwatchers, it is a very worthwhile area to visit, with the owls and the curlews on the moors, and the woodland birds in the valleys.. It is a very "arty" area with many talented artists and sculptors. There are several events throughout the year ie.Art Week, The Folk Festival etc. The local Tourist Information Office has the details! Country pubs and good restaurants and loads of good walks make it an excellent tourist destination. The Holme Valley is picturesque, rustic, and has a warm and welcoming charm all of its own. I like to think that Dob Cottage is a relaxing and comfortable place to come home to, after a busy day of exploring!
