No washcloths nor hand towels provided. 1 roll of toilet paper provided for 6 days!?TV was a communication nightmare all week long. Stink bugs were found nearly daily in upstairs bedrooms. Description of property did not indicate that both bedrooms and the only (tiny) bathroom were up steep stairs. Navigating steep stairs from the garage to the kitchen was required for entrance. This would NOT be a locale for anyone over 50 to lease (let alone my wife and I - each nearing 80).

Weekend getaway

This place was perfect for our getaway to Kansas City. We really loved exploring 39th St. So being so close to that was wonderful.That said, we spent time at 18th and Vine and actually all over Kansas City in this place was well located for us.Jim is a great communicator and may check in easy.

Weekend visit

Stayed 2 nights and got to bring my cat with me! House is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and was very cute. Loved the decor, very homey. Beds were VERY comfortable.

Great house in a great spot!

This house was perfect for us! We were attending an event at the convention center and this house was only a short drive away. It's also down the street from a Minsky's pizza, which we love! Jim is a great host. We would definitely rent from him again!

Great home close to everything!

Outstanding house close to KU and downtown. Definitely would stay again! Host, Jim, was super nice and went above an beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay and was super easy to communicate with when we had questions! Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked and clean. Would highly recommend this place anyone looking to travel to KC for a weekend or an extended stay!

Tournament stay

It was I an excellent location. Close to the convention center and close to grocery store. Jim the property manager was kind and very helpful. We very much enjoyed staying at his rental. We hope to return to this location again next year.

Quick Trip

We stayed with our daughter for the Chiefs Game. It was close to restaurants and bars and about 15 minutes from the stadium. The host, Jim was extremely accommodating. Checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean and we felt safe…!

It’s a place to sleep…

I want to start by saying that the host Jim is good at communicating and providing hospitality, however the rental needs severe maintenance and/or updates. When I viewed pictures of this rental when I was booking, it looked nice and the reviews were pretty good, so I went for it. Upon arriving, some light sources had lightbulbs that were burnt out or didn’t work at all. The bedroom furniture looks nice but the beds sound and feel like they could fall apart from under you. There is a broken stair leading to the upstairs that almost caused us to trip several times with our infant. I noticed an exposed wire in the living room and there is a mildew-ish kinda smell throughout the home but especially in the garage that leads to the house. There is nothing wrong with an older home, however it needs to be updated or at least keep up with. All in all, I enjoyed my trip to KC and Jim’s hospitality, however we pretty much did all we could to avoid going back to the rental until it was time to sleep.

Great communication. Host was nice. Plenty of items we needed for our stay, and then some .An awesome amount of pillows! Definitely recommend this place and host.
