Beautiful property with all modern amenities. Off road parking was a great . Valerie was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the large garden to walk around and sit in pretty places. 10 minute walk into the village for market , bar and restaurants. Overall very nice property and area.

First Class Holiday Let

A lovely, well maintained and clean property which has been tastefully furnished and well equipped. My wife and I really enjoyed our weeks holiday in this quiet and relaxing small town. My only critism regards the 50 euro cleaning charge which was required on our arrival, this should have been mentioned in the online listing or included in the invoice.

Couldn’t ask for more!

From start to finish the stay at Valerie’s property was absolutely wonderful. It was exceptionally clean, all the modern appliances, beautifully decorated and really well laid-out. Communication with Valerie was excellent - we were able to WhatsApp with great ease. The properly is situated a nice distance away from the road, great space for our estate car and access to the veg growing in their garden - lovely! Would absolutely stay here again, having Valerie on-site made things really easy for us. Clean towels every Saturday and cake on arrival! Just wonderful.

Perfect summer vacation

This house and garden in Angles is an amazing place to spend a few weeks in the beautiful Vendee. The house was very clean and modernly furnished and the large garden in the back was perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun after spending a day at the nearby beach. There's a nice terrace with a BBQ, and although the house is located near a main street in Angles, it was always quiet. Valerie and her husband are lovely hosts and they made sure to make our visit as comfortable as possible. They had good suggestions for things to do around the area and were always very helpful. The communication (e.g. check-in) was super easy. Angles is a very pittoresque village. The bakery, a little store and the butchery are within walking distance and twice a week there is a market where you can buy fresh local produce. The nearest beach is ~13 mins by car, but there are other beautiful beaches along the coast which are definitely worth exploring. We had a really great time here and will definitely return!

Realy cosy place to stay.

The place is a little hard to find as it has no street number, but our host (which we warned - on her request - some 20 minutes before we arrived) was waiting for us in front of the entrance. Good parking in front of the building. A really cosy type of typical French gite. Well fitted with a modern bathroom and a well equiped kitchen. Our friendly host had many tips were we should go/what we should visit including some restaurants. Comfortable living room and a nice garden (with bbq). The garden is a separated part of a larger garden which has a place to play pétanque. Also lots of herbs to which we were invited to pick them. In the village (a few 100 meters away) there are two nice restaurants, one bakery (two shops) and a really nice butcher’s. Close to the seaside but also in a good place to visit interesting touristic places. Good place to stay. (The very friendly host even took the effort to send me the stuff I left in the gite when we moved on. Really appreciated!)

Fijn vakantiehuis bij strand en natuur

Comfortabel vakantiehuis met (zicht op) een mooie tuin. Voorzieningen dichtbij, supermarkt, bakker, slager en een leuke markt.Fijne stranden en voor vogelaars moerassen met veel watervogels.Valérie is een goede gastvrouw. Fijn verblijf gehad in Angles.

Gîte de haut standing au calme

Très bel emplacement avec parking et un extérieur réservé au gîte, très calme. La partie "venise verte" du marais est à une heure de route. L'océan est accessible en vélo (nous avions nos vélos électriques). Le gîte est neuf et de belle facture.

"La Coquette" is perfect!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maisonnette très bien équipée avec parking et jardin. A recommander pour la découverte du marais poitevin et de la côte atlantique avec ses parc à huitres!

Très agréable

Tout a été parfait: un accueil très chaleureux, la petite maison très agréable, très claire, avec une terrasse et un petit jardin. L'endroit est très calme, et cependant à seulement quelques kilomètres de la mer. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour!

Ferien September zu zweit

Nach einer schönen Fahrt von der Schweiz aus, wurden wir herzlich durch Valerie empfangen. Wir fanden eine sehr schöne und saubere Wohnung vor und fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl! Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und doch sehr nah am Dorfkern - was wir genossen. Mit den mitgenommenen Velos, haben wir die Gegend auf den dafür vorgesehen Velorouten erkundet, was auch sehr schön und empfehlenswert ist. Typ: Tagesausflug auf die Il de Ré:-)
