The property was as described, and inside the unit was clean and well furnished. Unfortunately, there were a few issues with the apartment building where the unit is located. We're not sure if these are due to the owner/manager of the unit (Kasa) or with the larger complex (Mockingbird Flats).
Trash was allowed to pile up in the hallway (both inside and outside the room where the trash chute was) and was not removed for days, stinking up the entire place. The dumpsters both inside the garage and outside were overflowing with trash. Also, though it is a pet-friendly building, the courtyard designated for dogs to do their business had a stench, and our dog did not want to go there due to the smell, so we often had to take the long, convoluted path to go outside the building, where there is little green space in the immediate neighborhood.
Communication left something to be desired. The check-in instructions online were not especially clear, particularly checking in on a weekend after hours with no onsite staff. We did manage, though. There was a complaint before we arrived about a clogged drain, and we were notified by management that maintenance would need to come in to address it. However, they did not follow up with a specific time, and (a week and a half after notifying us), maintenance showed up unexpectedly, expecting the apartment to be empty. Somewhere, communication was not good between the owner/manager of our unit, us, and the maintenance team for the complex.
For the purposes of a two-week stay, it was a good experience. The location is good, the apartment was very nice. Again, we're not sure whether the communication and trash issues are due to the owner/manager of the unit (Kasa) or with the management of the apartment complex, but if those can be sorted out this would be an excellent place to stay.
