Great place for a family vacation

The property was wonderful and so close to the beach and town. Easy to check in and lots of family space. Great place to spend time and focus on family and relaxing.

Beautiful house

The home was beautiful and close walk to the beach. We didn't know it was 3 floors. So main floor had full bathroom with a bedroom and upstairs was 1/2 bath with 2 bedroom and basement had a full bathroom with a nice setup.

Spring break 2023

Overall it was good “bang for buck”. Size of property was great. Decor is dated, howler that is obvious from listing and exactly what expected. Overall, pretty close to the beach and a short walk into the main part of town.

Summer fun

The house was terrible but seaside was great. The house is old, ant issue in kitchen, mold in bathroom, not enough linens, house smells. Furniture looks dirty. Wouldn’t sit on couches.

The floor was dirty in some areas. The trash in some bedrooms were not thrown out. The real issue with my stay was that they had told us that one of the beds was broken and delayed our check in. Upon arrival we soon found out that it was most likely not a broken bed but that someone had urinated on the bed and on the carpet. The smell was so bad that it was making it difficult to stay in the place. Due to the smell of that room, the entire main floor smelled like urine. Their “solution” to resolve the problem at first, was to send someone to spray Febreze. Obviously that didn’t resolve anything. They then had someone clean the carpet and the smell still lingered. We were not able to use the room at all during our stay due to the unpleasant smell of urine. We are upset about the dishonesty and transparency of the situation. They had known about the situation prior to our stay after further discussion with one of the house keepers.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dishes dirty, blinds broken and dirty, furniture very worn out,dog poop left in the back we had to pick up. Property boasts BBQ, it's a tiny table top that had no propane and the ignition switch was broken plus there was no place to put it except on the ground.Toilet seat broken, furnace stopped working, and there was a parental lock on one TV so it was not usable. Called rental company waited on hold forever to be told maintenence would call me. We got tired of wasting our time waiting for them to call us back and just left for the day. I was unable to get through to the company again so I waited until I got home and called them. I sat on hold for 50 minutes before I was finally helped. Would you want to sit on hold while you are on vacation? It was not a pleasant experience. With the right care and proper maintenence and cleaning it could be a nice place to stay.

Good place to stay in Seaside

Was nice; we almost decided to rent next year, but price went up markedly. It was perfect for us! We have been renting in Seaside in the summers for 8 years. Every year there is a minor issue such as not enough spoons. This year there were 3 washcloths for the 7 of us. I guess the worst was the year I did not look at the description carefully and we had to to the laundromat! I love being by the ocean and it was lovely to wake up to the roar of the ocean and the seagulls. We watched juvenile seagulls grow -- we were hoping we would see them fly away before we left, alas.... This is a good location: close to the beach and the downtown.

1930’s shabby

Narrow stairs up and down, musty lower level, heavy dust levels under furniture, dirty and dead bugs/dirt on every window sill, leaking toilet and sink that drains slowly: none of these items are acceptable to us. Only good part was location and size of main living areas. Won’t be coming back.

Seaside House Review - Hood To Coast Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While in the end this house suited our basic needs, it was not up to the standard I would have expected. The living room sofas were dirty and desperately needed some vacuuming as old food was common between the cushions. While I do not expect the appearance to be as a newer house would appear, this house seemed more rundown in some areas that I would have expected, especially for the price. My most significant issue was the 9 person restriction. Making a rental available on Hood to Coast weekend at a premium price, I would expect the entire team (12 runners) would be accommodated. The house had ample space for a 12 person team. Therefore the restriction was inappropriate at best. So after paying a 3 day minimum, our team had to incur additional expenses to secure additional accommodations for 3 team members, completely unnecessary.On the positive side, the house is in an excellent location, allowing us to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. In addition, the backyard proved the perfect spot for relaxing after our extended journey and for dinner in exceptionally lovely weather. The kitchen was well appointed for our dinner preparation needs. Having rented another property in Seaside for many years, we have previous experience to compare with this years. Our housing rental experience this year did not come close to our past experience. Also an older house. Very disappointing, since with a little effort it could be much better. Therefore, sadly i can not recommend this property or VRBO/OBV

Can't call that a barbeque!

Perfectly roomy, 3 floor, 3+ bedrooms w/2 and 1/2 bath, front and back outdoor space. Super quick walk to Prom and beach. Tiny bar-b for a three bedroom!

Good location

The location was excellent for walking to beach and main strip. The neighborhood was quiet. House is old which is fine but was a little dirty and furniture was rundown. Our 3 year old grand child slept on a broken daybed, thankfully he didn't mind it was lopsided. There was no bedding for the futon downstairs so we had to purchase some. All other bedding was old, comforters were thin and faded; uncertain if bedding was clean as there was a long hair in my bed. I ended up washing it so thankful for the washer/dryer. I do recommend, would stay there again as a family but expect college apartment furnishings.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was in a great location! It's about a 2 minute walk to the boardwalk and a 10 minute walk to Broadway. The house was clean with a lot of open areas to gather. I loved the big kitchen and dining area. It was easy to unload/load the car from the back as there are no stairs and you can pull the car to the top of the driveway.We all had a wonderful time and will stay there the next time we get to Seaside!

Easy vacation

It was a simple process, great home. Love being able to purchase insurance instead of worrying about dealing with deposits. Close to everything and perfect location.
