Very nice place, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only issue was visible mold on the ceiling above the stairs.

OK, needs updates

Lots of space for our family but this place is in desperate need of updates. The property manager is awesome and was very attentive to the few issues that arose during our stay.

Check in was a breeze, then disappointment set in.

After checking in, on Monday we went to the office with a list of things that would have been easy to address. Things like both of the kitchen ceiling light fixtures should have had 2 light bulbs each or higher wattage so the we could see what we were doing. The kitchen was very dim.The list went on and we were told through emails that the list went to the local managers. After many discussions, I was told on Friday that the manager had spoken to maintenance and since at that point it was 4PM and he was the ONLY one available, if he didn’t get to us on Friday, he would DEFINITELY be at the cottage on Saturday. No one showed up that day or any other day. After that discussion I GAVE UP. We have used VRBO many times and have NEVER been so disappointed. Yes, the decorating was delightful however the broken lamp shade, the hems on the upstairs drapes weren’t finished and no hot water in one sink in the master bathroom were not addressed. I hope that the owner gets to learn about these problems. We also reported a package was on the entry table and had been delivered in November of 2024.

Satisfactory

The living room seating was very uncomfortable and awkward. The sleeping was fine after they replaced one of the beds. I think there is something needing attention on one of the single beds in t he back bedroom. The location of the unit is escellent. In general, the unit is tired and need upgrading.

Nice condo overall. Needs updates. Close to pool, golf club, beach club. Nice natural rear area(saw a number of deer). No ice maker, internet very slow, A/C will not let you set temp below 70 degrees and upstairs gets warm, cable has bare minimum, and coffee maker was cheapy cheap.

Hotel like accommodations

This was a very clean, spacious condo, that could use some updating. The grounds and area are beautiful. The pool /hot tub was closed which was disappointing. JANE at checking was awesome and friendly. So here's what to be aware of The beds are hard. No escaping that. The box springs are very squeaky/creaky. We saw this in previous reviews and it's true. We couldn't help but laugh at one another when you layed down. If you have breathing issues be advised the was a leak in the skylight , there is evidence of black mold. Overall, it was a great stay, but we are excited about our next stop as the reviews gave the beds 5 stars. Most vrbos have some kitchen items for you to use. Not here. Be prepared to bring your own spices, coffee filters, food wrap,baggies, cooking oils. There's not even salt and pepper.

Priced Accordingly

The property is located in Sea Pines. It is an older property and hasn't been updated for a while, but for the price it is worth it. We had four guys staying there for a golf trip so it was perfect. The furniture is older and the floors and mattresses creek when you move. Overall, it was good for what we were looking for and priced right.

Winter getaway

My family planned to stay in this condo for 3 weeks, and loved it so much we added an extra week. Great location, very bike-able and close to the beach. It was also in a fairly private location in the condo community. I worked remotely here and my daughter did school online. We had no issues with the WiFi connection.

A/C Problems

The a/c unit could not keep the villa cool, in one bedroom the air would barely blow out causing the bathroom to fill like a sauna. The manager was very helpful and had a technician come out to fix it and then had portable a/c units brought into the villa to cool it off. The manager stayed in contact with me everyday to see if the a/c unit was working properly and left the portable units in until we left, which was very helpful because otherwise it would have been to warm to sleep. Also there was a lot of bugs in the villa that we had to kill everyday. I relayed this to the manager and he was very helpful and told me the pest control schedule that they are on. Overall it is a nice condo but the a/c unit not being large enough to run the entire villa is hard to deal with. The manager being as helpful as he was is why it gets the rating it did.

PLANTATION CLUB #545 -- TERRIBLE MATTRESSES & BEDDING

We travel often and stay in a variety of hotels, motels, condos, cabins, etc. It's not uncommon to have bedding that is not up to par. But we have never experienced such awful bedding as Plantation Club Unit 545 at Hilton Head Island. It was TERRIBLE. Every spring in both king beds must have been broken. Everyone in our party is complaining of no sleep and sore stiff backs. It's pretty bad when you can hear the spring popping on the bed in another bedroom. Otherwise, the unit was so-so. Nothing to write home about.

The location was nice. Easy bike ride to beach or drive to parking. Right off the circle so convenient to ride bikes anywhere. The house was clean as well.

Great stay

After an issue at another rental property, Vacasa found us this property for the remainder of our stay in HHI. This unit was in a great location close to the beach and Harbourtown. It was very clean. The unit was spacious and had everything you could need for a vacation. We plan to come back!

Good weekend getaway

The property was pretty much as described but in need of updates. There was no instruction on how to work the TVs and was never able to connect in the master which was a disappointment. The condo is spacious but in dire need of some updates to make it feel more comfortable.
