If we could give this property 10 stars we would. Communication with Mike from check-in to check-out was clear and timely. The home is very well appointed with a complete kitchen set up, comfortable beds and plenty of seating areas for relaxing after busy days exploring Edinburgh. The location is perfect for walking the Royal Mile and access to other sites in the city. The views across Holyrood Park and Arthur’s Seat are the icing on the cake. We highly recommend this property.

Firstly i have to say that we messed up a couple of things and Mike could not have been more gracious or kind. Every person enjoys their own bedroom/bathroom. Nice sitting area with a functional kitchen. Owner provided many adapters for those who forgot. Easy walking to the Royal Mile and the Edinburgh Castle. Pretty quiet street - didn’t bother the persons in the front bedrooms.

The home is beautiful, wonderful space for a family or several couples. Especially loved the location. An easy walk to High Street and having the park and Arthur's Seat right outside the home was a treat for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great family vacation

This property was perfect for our family vacation. We had 5 adults and 3 children. Plenty of bedroom, bath and gathering space. Clean, with all the conveniences of home. Easy to get into the city and also enjoy the outdoor space in the back! Would return here.

Wonderful Place

We rented this for a multi-family stay. Everyone liked the rooms, the location, and the layout. Our hosts were gracious and easy to work with. They made us feel welcome and went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. I highly recommend this beautiful place.

Our family had a wonderful stay here. The house is spacious and very well appointed. The information guide was detailed and helpful. Located in the city but not in a busy area, great view, access to the park just around the corner.

Great house with thoughtful hosts

We had a wonderful stay at this house. He bedrooms were comfortable and it was great to have our own bathrooms too. Spacious kitchen/living/dining and a lovely touch to have some pantry staples available too. Easy check in process. Very good location close to Arthur’s Seat and easy walk into town.

We are Mike and Cheryl Cran who own the house. We lived in Edinburgh when we were first married but left over 20 years ago because of our jobs.

We love Edinburgh and fell in love with this house as soon as we saw the stunning views.

We use it whenever we can between short term lets and trust you will enjoy its beautiful location in the heart of the city and all that Edinburgh has to offer as much as we do every time we visit.

Our profile photo was taken in July 2015, just after we bought the house and staying in Edinburgh while supporting our daughter playing Lacrosse for Scotland in the Under 19s Lacrosse World Championships.

The views from a townhouse set in the city are stunning - virtually rural - and yet you are only 6-7 bus stops or a 15 minute walk from the city centre and all that Edinburgh has to offer as a capital city.

The efficiency of a modern house providing warmth and efficient showers with copious hot water.

A garage and second parking space are invaluable in a capital city centre property.

All that a capital city centre offers close at hand but with the benefit of a "near rural" setting.
