Beautiful home with a great layout for multiple families/couples. The outdoor pool area is an excellent area to enjoy a relaxing evening. An added perk was having a nice supply of beach towels for use. A helpful addition would be a longer hose pipe for rinsing off golf carts. Overall a gorgeous property, I would highly recommend renting.

We were there for my wife’s birthday celebration. It was eight adults and six grandchildren under 10. Everyone had a great time. The pool was perfect for keeping the kids occupied. We had a birthday celebration with a chef that came in and I asked him what he thought of the kitchen, and he thought it was excellent. the set up and things that he needed to do his job were perfect.A couple times I contacted the property manager, she was very responsiveNo one in the group were golfers so we did not have to get the amenity cards. The cards themselves were reasonably priced, but I think the resort charging an extra 11% on the rental just so you could buy the cards was little excessive. it didn’t matter to us with the house having a pool. there was absolutely no need for them.We rented golf carts and bicycles at the Fripp Island cart rental. It was Very convenient and the people were very nice. if you plan on doing a lot of beach excursions, you should bring your own chairs or I’m sure you can rent them.

Great house

Overall the house was great. The pool and hot tub were not clean when we got there and that was disappointing. The pool company came the next day to clean, but it was a little disconcerting at this price point. The oven is a Wolf, but it never worked properly. It took 3hours to cook a large pan of lasagna. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 5 couples we had to celebrate September birthdays. Fripp Island is beautiful.

We are disappointed that you encountered issues that impacted your stay. The pool and hot tub are cleaned twice a week but we are unable to schedule cleanings to coincide with guest checkins. When storms come through, the pool can get some leaves and needles in it. The Wolf oven has been tested to ensure proper operation and we found no issues. We encourage guests to call us if you experience any issues so we can assist. Sometimes the bottom rack can be installed in correctly by a guest not allowing the oven door to close completely. Thank you for staying with us and hope you will come back again soon.

Huge well-stocked kitchen and open space for eating and relaxing. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom, with kids sharing a large bathroom upstairs. Pool and backyard area are even better in person. Plenty of parking for cars and golf carts. Ideal for multiple families.

Girls Weekend Getaway

We came with a large group for a girl’s weekend and it was the perfect location! The house opens up to the gorgeous backyard and we spent 80% of our time in the hot tub and by the pool - this is a very spacious home with plenty of room while still feeling cozy. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a cozy home with a gorgeous and fun pool situation!

Outstanding!

This awesome home is located in its very own, private paradise! The home was lovely throughout: the kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, the dining area was perfect and the pool and outdoor entertaining area are amazing. Our family group of 12 members ranged in age from 6 to 77 and we all loved 518 Remora. The beaches, nature trails and shopping/dining areas were all a short golf card ride away, but the truth is we spent most of our days enjoying the pool, slide and hot tub. The local property manager was prompt in responding to 2 small issues we had during our stay; He was also very friendly and informative. We used our golf carts everyday so I would say they are a must for most groups. We purchased the amenity cards for all of the adults in our party ($50 each) but we only used them once and that was for dinner at the clubhouse one night. The other restaurant we planned to try was closed during our stay & not taking reservations. There are plenty of good seafood places just off the island & in nearby Beaufort and shopping on Fripp is very limited, so I would suggest the amenity cards are not a must UNLESS your group includes golfers and/or tennis players. Just assess your needs & research the amenity cards carefully before purchasing. One final suggestion: Be sure to head for the beach for some gorgeous sunsets during your stay. You'll love Fripp Island!

New Years at Fripp

We had a large group of "Framily" friends who stayed in this "Guest Cottage" over New Years. We have all been to Fripp numerous times and this was the coolest space we have stayed. The hot tub and even the pool were a major hit. The kitchen is amazing and everyone had a bed. Great space and we would def stay again.

The New Standard

If you want a house for multiple families, look no further. Everything you see in the pictures is even nicer in person. Huge amount of fridge space, double stoves, double dishwashers, double washer/dryers, outdoor kitchen. Having your own pool is a HUGE plus. The layout of the house and furnishings were top notch. There are only a few smalls stairs to get up to the house, which made it doable for the granddad. The elevated beds made things a little tougher on the little grandmom, but she managed just fine. We complemented the house over and over saying how glad we were to be there. This is the new standard for future family vacations.

Mom/ Son House

After having to cancel our Jamaica trip due to Covid, we thought we wouldn't be able to make it up to our kids to plan a final senior year break. WE WERE WRONG! This is the BEST house on the island and Fripp is a hidden gem. I've never been until now. Already planning a parent trip back and would stay in this house every time! Thank you for sharing the beauty of your space.

Fantastic vacation

Fripp island is beautiful, secluded, and friendly. A perfect vacation site for families. This house is gorgeous! It has every amenity for a group; double dishwashers, laundry machines, stoves, extra refrigerated drawers. Not to mention that the pool and outdoor living space is out of this world beautiful. The pictures didn’t do this house justice. Only negatives I could come up with are minor; had to skim the pool daily (lots of leaves, but I’m confident that’s a plus in the summer!) and could have used more hand towels.
