First off the great: close to Sequoia entrance, amazing back yard and deck, easy access right to the river, good beds and pillows, small but well stocked kitchen, well decorated.
The Challenges: the bathroom layout is a bit awkward but ok, the washing machine had a terrible smell that unfortunately escaped into the kitchen and dining area. The biggest challenge was that the power went out and we were unable to reach any of the three contact numbers. We finally the next morning received a text back saying that there was a scheduled power outage and that they had let us know through the booking service. We looked back through all of our messages and we had not been notified. We asked to discuss these issues with them and it has been complete silence for almost two weeks now. (Wanted to give them a chance to respond to us before writing this review. )
Overall, this place is good, as long as you don’t need to do laundry, are ok eating out on the deck, and don’t need anything from the manager. The back yard and river access really are beautiful.
