Family time!

Our family enjoyed the dock as well as watching movies upstairs and downstairs. We brought all of our meals with us so that was fun cooking together. Kids enjoyed having the bunkbeds and grandma and grandpa enjoyed being at the other end of the house!

Peaceful

Wonderful place on the lake with beautiful updates throughout. So peaceful and just what we were hoping for. The house sits on the property to where it is super private. Highly recommended

Exceeded our expectations

This property was well kept and clean. The beds were very comfortable and had a ton of amenities to keep our family busy… fishing from the double decker dock, kayaking, fire pit, hot tub, and ping pong we enjoyed them all. Highly recommend.

Great updated property with easy access to the north end of the lake

Very nice updated property with all the kitchen essentials, towels, kids toys, toddler bed rail. Easy check in with key code door access. Steep but short walk to a private single slip dock. The lake was clam and beautiful! Our family had a fun long weekend get away and really enjoyed our stay! We wanted to make a fire in the nice outdoor seating space but unfortunately there wasn't any wood - recommend you bring your own or pick up from nearby store.

Beautiful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We brought along a boat and it was wonderful to have a place to keep it rather than having to bring it in and out of the water daily. The house itself was comfortable and homey. The only thing only thing that was in the least bit challenging was the walk down to and up from the lake. I would add that to the description so people know, prior to booking. We’re of an umm older generation and it was a bit rough on us. BUT we made it and had a great time! Thanks for sharing your space!

Lakehouse summer fun

The lakehouse experience was great. My family and friends had a great time. The house was impeccable and is very well located to every major amenity you may need. The only heads up I would give is that the walk back up from the lake dock to the house is not for the faint at heart. It is steep so you must be willing and up to climbing a bit of a hill. Not recommended for strollers. The owner, Brittany, was very responsive to any questions. Will definitely be returning soon!

Great Location

The property was very convenient to my native East Hall and close to grocery stores, restaurants and points of interest. It was very clean and spacious and looked recently remodelled. Furniture, fixtures & appliances were modern and in good working order, and the kitchen was well stocked with basic items. We appreciated the welcome goodies and especially the decorated Christmas tree. The driveway is steep, which could be an issue for someone with mobility problems, but it worked fine for us and makes the property more private since it is below street level. It felt secluded from the neighbors. We did not try out the hot tub or get out on the lake since the weather was chilly, but we had a great time playing ping pong in the basement.

Very Clean, Great Cove

The house was very clean and communication with the owner was very easy. The cove was very private. There is a large tv downstairs but there were only plastic lawn chairs to sit on, so it was not very comfortable. The outside area is not completely finished and there isn’t much outside seating other than the table. They have a great canoe and paddle board but only provide one paddle. We ended up buying a few chairs and an additional paddle. The owner is clear that it is a steep hike to the lake. This is very true. If you are not in good health, it would be too much to get to the lake.

Incredible Lake Property

We have rented from this owner at other properties in Florida they own and this experience was just like all the rest. Perfect! The house has been tastefully remodeled with great furniture and beddding. There is a large open spacious layout with modern appliances and large TV's with Roku built in. So many amenities! We played cornhole, pingpong, swam off the island with swim ladder, fished off the dock, and used the floats. We used the grill for hamburgers and relaxed in the hot tub one evening. We didn't make it to the kayak, but it was greatly appreciated. The water around the double decker dock is deep and clear. The dock is great with a wodnerful large umbrella to provide ample shade on a hot & sunny afternoon. The covered front porch with adirondack chairs was a great place to relax with a morning coffee. We were extremely pleased with this property! Restaurants and large supermarkets are close by. The only con was a fairly steep walk down to the dock, but it was excellent heart pumping excercise!

Absolute bliss

This place was the perfect getaway. Our friends drove in from Atlanta with their boat and we love how far and tucked away it is. The area where are the dock is located made is easy to swim around and have fun in the water, but also easily accessible to get on the water. The hill is a little steep but doable if you tread slowly. Close towards the bottom are stairs that make it easy to go down and up from the dock. The dock was spotless with no cobwebs nor spiders. The house itself was perfect for kiddos. The front yard was perfect for privacy and have the kids run around and play cornhole. We love the open kitchen, and living room area with few pieces of furniture. This made less items for the kids to run into. We love the bench and vintage and table beside the kitchen and made family style meals during our stay. The dishwasher was amazing as it had a feature to clean the kids bottles and cups. We are extremely thankful this place was kid friendly. The basement has a full bathroom and honestly it could have been a room in itself. The couches WERE SOOOOOO COMFORTABLE that you could fall asleep there. We are definitely coming back and using this place and renting a boat for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful, Serene Location

This property is stunning. My teens loved the rec room downstairs with the hot tub, the ping pong table, the tv and the fridge. All upgraded finishings. Will stay again.

Everything you need for a great relaxing get away!

We had an absolute blast during our stay. I don't think the pictures quite do the interior justice. The place exceeded our expectations. Brittany was very timely with communications and we ran into zero issues while at the property. We had 4 teenagers with us and they were constantly occupied with things to do around the property or on the lake. Don't hesitate to book this property.

Amazing lakefront property

We absolutely loved everything about our trip to this lakefront house! We especially liked the double decker dock which had room for the boat we rented. We appreciated the extra floating dock and lounge pad too! The property was located in a quiet cove, and was exactly as described and pictured. We would love to rent here again, hopefully next summer.

Great Lake House on quiet cove

House was clean and had the perfect amount of space for all of my family and a second family. We enjoyed the dock, especially on 4th of July where we watched a beautiful fireworks show over the lake. The area was quiet and the cove is nice and private. The walk down to the dock is steep, but manageable. We cooked meals in the house, the kitchen came fully equipped. Overall it was a great stay!

Great location and lots of room

The home was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. Very close to town and restaurants. We rented a boat for the week and was able to keep it at the dock . The only drawbacks were the hill is very steep, especially in extreme heat. The microwave was not working. Otherwise, great place.

Great stay on the lake

Perfect home for enjoying Lake Lanier! The house was great for our family-entire house is updated & well stocked, and one of the cleanest vrbo’s we’ve stayed in. The dock was the icing on the cake. We spent our days enjoying the view from the top deck of the dock, floating in the lake & fishing. At night we enjoyed the hot tub & making s’mores over the fire pit. Loved the convenience of being right in town too. This is the perfect home to relax & enjoy beautiful Lake Lanier

Very nice house!

Very spacious, everything was brand new and it was very comfortable. Driveway a little tricky with boat, but would definitely stay again. Nice quiet little cove with a very nice dock.

Great getaway

Perfect place. In town for fishing tournament, located close to landing. Dock came in handy to park under during rain. The only down side was no parking for multiple boats. Would rent again. I have friends going to Lanier ext week and I’m recommending this house.

Great Get away

The house was definitely nice and secluded while still being so close to the amenities of Gainesville! Perfect place to get away and enjoy the stillness of the lake, even when it's too cold to take a dip!

Beautiful Lake House

The photos don’t do it justice…..Great property for friends/family. Lots of space to spread out, fully equipped kitchen if you plan to cook. My grand-daughter had an amazing weekend. Thank You for putting this house on VRBO! The Roman’s

Enjoyed our stay

My 1 dislike about our trip had nothing to do with the house itself but communication with the owner. I had to message for our check information when we got to the house at check in time because we had not received this information before hand. Everything about the house is just as described the hill to the water is steep our little ones coulsnt do it on thier own (not a bad thing). House was lovely kitchen was nicely stocked with all the things we needed and beds where comfortable for all. Overall once check in was over we had no issues and greatly enjoyed the house and location

Needed a place to stay for a fishing tournament

We really enjoyed the stay at this home. It was extremely clean and newly remodeled. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything that we needed and the gas grill was clean. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. We visited the Botanical Gardens a few miles down the street during our stay. There is a walking trail at Laurel Park which follows the shoreline that we enjoyed each morning. The dock is great as well and would be great for the warmer months. I would recommend this property to others as it is great for families.
