River Cottage - beautiful !

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful riverfront home. It’s on the water and you don’t even notice your neighbors. It seems you’re deep in the woods but 5 minutes from everything !! Beds were soft and comfortable. We loved that each bedroom had its own bath room. Nice that each room had at least one luggage rack if not 2. Kitchen was well appointed and we had what we needed to make meals. But be sure to bring your own spices and condiments. Deck was a great place to spend evenings. Hot tub was very nice after a busy day. Overall … wonderful home !!

Little piece of Heaven

My church group was staying here for our Women Of Joy retreat. It was so relaxing and comfortable, they decided to cancel their plans to go shopping between sessions, and just stay at the house instead. Awesome hosts, everything was perfect!

Beautiful property with fishing access!

The home is beautiful and clean. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The neighborhood is filled with look-a-like rentals, so make sure to know your house number! So close to everything, but the street is far enough away to feel serene. We loved the access to the Little Pigeon River. The only down side was the scent of moth balls.

Ponies in the Smokies Trip

This property is in a great location, close to all of the main attractions. The property was very well kept and clean upon our arrival. The owners were also very responsive to any correspondence that was sent to them. We’ve already booked a return trip to this home and can’t wait to come back!

Volleyball tournament

Friends for Valentine’s

Great house, far enough away from traffic and close enough to drive. Beautiful house, covered parking with swings and great view of the river. House was very clean, decor was great, had all you needed for a long weekend stay. Thank you for biblical verses throughout the house and a bible in every room. Planning on returning again in the future.

New Year’s Eve and Dollywood trip

We so enjoyed this home. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to cook our own dinners and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was enjoyed by all of us in the evenings. The river added to our experience and we saw sandhill cranes and fed the ducks one morning. The house was decorated so nice for Christmas too. Very convenient location.

Another wonderful stay!

This cottage is absolutely wonderful. Always clean and well equipped for everything you need. Location is easy to access and close to everything. We really enjoy the backyard and the river view.

It was a lovely cozy home. It was not as kid proof as we expected, so if you have a 16month old like we did be prepared to chase them away from the stairs, the hot fireplace, the lamps, and the small decorations (nativity scene) on side table. Would be great when he gets older. Otherwise, great stay.

Another perfect stay!

This is our second time staying at this property, and it has been perfect both times! Our only suggestion is to put mirrors in the bedrooms. (Six women getting ready at once requires more than bathroom mirrors. 😜) This cabin is beautifully decorated, in a perfect location with easy access… just can’t say enough good things about it! Hope it’s available for our next girls’ trip!!

We truly enjoyed staying in this spacious rental. The host has thought of everything you might need during your stay. We did have to make a store run for more trash bags and toilet tissue, though. Very family friendly and clean :)

Perfect Getaway!

This little rental is in an adorable community and is the perfect location to all the restaurants and shops in Pigeon Forge! I loved that this was in a flatter neighborhood setting that was super easy to access vs on top of a mountain with steep roads like a lot of rentals in the area. Not only was every room and space incredibly clean and tidy but it was also well stocked and had everything you need! The beds were comfortable and the home is way more spacious than it looks in the photos! The river is beautiful and the jacuzzi was a huge hit with all the guests. The hosts were easy to communicate with and friendly and responsive. We will definitely be saving this listing for future stays!

Beautiful House by the River

We stayed here with 6 adults, 2 small children and it was lovely. Plenty of space for all of us, while still feeling cozy. We loved the back porch looking over the water, and wished we could have stayed longer. Communication with the property owners was great as well. Can’t wait to come back here!

We are the Stuckeys from Columbia, MS. We are lifelong residents of Marion County and live 10 miles from Columbia in the county. We have one son, Josh. We have always lived on farms, and enjoy the outdoors, from hunting and fishing to various outdoor sports. We are active in our church and local volunteer fire department, as well as other service activities. We enjoy supporting our local school archery team and the area community college that we both attended and Josh attended.
We enjoy hosting and providing a family friendly home to vacation in. We have set up the cottage to provide for almost every need you might have. The comfort of our guests is very important to us. We have been extremely fortunate to have many families return each year.

FYI: it is not a baby proof home and there are no baby gates, high chairs, etc. in the home. There are no priceless items on tables. If a lamp or nativity scene gets broken, just let us know and we will get it replaced.

We want you to relax and enjoy your stay.

We purchased this cottage after owning a cabin in the Wears Valley area for 3 years. We wanted to be closer to town and have a river view. The Mountain View’s were priceless, but winter weather created difficulties in reaching the cabin. Pigeon River Cottage is accessible year-round regardless of the winter weather! It’s quiet, peaceful and relaxing by the river and close to all the local attractions and restaurants. We have covered parking, trees and grass and more privacy.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Having the river 30 feet from the cottage provides the sound of the moving water and various types of water fowl. There are geese on the river as well as blue herons, eagles and mallard ducks. Occasionally, you will spot otters and many species of birds, squirrels and rabbits are always around. You can bring your tubes or kayaks and enjoy floating on the river or bring your fishing gear and fish. The back deck and ground level porch are wonderful places to relax and enjoy the river and animals. There are rockers on both the front and back decks, and the back deck has a dining area for four as does the lower deck. The lower deck also has a grill and swing with shade from the trees in the yard providing an area for kids to play.
