A former potter's house in a quiet location overlooking the Aven quays and the port 50 m away. All shops nearby, museum and galleries (10 min. walk). The coast is less than 10 km away, and the walled town of Concarneau 15 km. Pont-Aven is the city of the painters of whom Gauguin was the precursor. The charm of this small Breton town is still intact, and its international renown is undeniable.
The house has just been completely restored.
240 square meters are at your disposal. It comprises a large living room with fireplace and comfortable leather seating, a dining room with a view of the port and docks, a large kitchen opening onto a sheltered terrace, 5 bedrooms with private bathrooms and WCs (bath and shower for two of them), shower for the third and fourth. 2 garden rooms on two different terraces. Relaxation room.
Relaxation room (TV, reading). Outdoor ping-pong table. Two bicycles available.

Séjour à Pont Aven

Maison très bien située et équipée Literie très confortable.Petit bémol : cette maison d'architecte est tout en demi niveaux et la chambre présentée comme au rez de chaussée correspond à un sous sol où se trouve aussi le salon télé. Il faudrait prévoir le chauffage pour ces pièces ainsi que dans les salles de bains. Trop juste quand il fait 20 degrés dehors. Dommage car sinon le reste était parfait et le propriétaire bien que non présent à été joignable et charmant

Chère Madame, Je vous remercie de votre retour et d'avoir séjourné dans notre villa. J'ai bien noté votre remarque concernant le chauffage qui peut, en effet, être utile en août en Bretagne. Quel dommage que vous ne m'en ayez pas informé lors de votre présence sur place, je vous aurais alors expliqué comment le mettre en route ou l'aurais fait faire par la personne qui s'occupe de la maison : un petit appel téléphonique et le tour était joué ! Concernant la deuxième remarque, une rectification s'impose : compte tenu de la configuration des lieux, la maison épouse effectivement le relief du coteau (ce qui participe à son charme architectural), mais aucune pièce de vie n'est en sous-sol. La chambre dont vous parlez est située en rez-de-chaussée : elle donne par une grande baie vitrée directement sur une cour qui permet un accès rue sans différence de niveau, les photos sont très explicites.

Chère Madame, Comme je vous l'ai expliqué lors de nos échanges, la maison a connu, l'été dernier, un dégât des eaux. Les murs du salon TV ont été impactés a posteriori et je regrette que vous ayez subi le désagrément de voir les murs de ce salon en bas partiellement grisés par une pellicule de moisissures. Depuis, les réparations ont été effectuées. M'étant rendu sur place en octobre dernier, je n'ai eu à constater aucune mauvaise odeur particulière dans la pièce concernée, pas plus que dans la maison. Je vous remercie d'y avoir séjourné ainsi que pour la qualité de nos échanges à l'issue de votre séjour.
