Orange Beach vacation

The property was clean and well maintained. The pool area was nice and kept in great condition. The condo was clean and everything worked as it should. I would have liked to have had more towels for the bathroom and kitchen available. The few that were there were very thin. By far the best part of the unit was the view. It was spectacular.

Enjoyed our stay on the beach! Our condo was very clean and in a convenient location. Checking in and out was a breeze. When you go in to get your parking pass don't forget your license plate number you'll need it. Only complaint we had the toilet is wobbly and should be fixed. Thanks for an enjoyable stay at the beach!

Great location

We enjoyed our weekend getaway. Great view from the tenth floor. Short walk to the beach. The condo had all the amenities. We’ll be back.

Very Nice!

We enjoyed our stay in Orange Beach. The condo was very nice! Please consider purchasing another sofa. Very uncomfortable. Ice Maker for the refrigerator would be nice. The view of the ocean was amazing! Wow! It was too cold for us to walk on the beach however it was so good to get away for a few days! There is HEALING! in God's Water! We plan to visit again!

Great stay for small family or a couple

Pros: loved the location and amenities. It is right across from a Ruby slipper if you are looking for a good breakfast. There are many restaurants near by and close to fun arcades and putt putt places. The pool and kiddie splash pad were really nice and the beach was great. They just opened a coffee shop on the second floor, which was solid for someone that hates having to bring the coffee and filters etc for a short family trip. The check in and check out process was simple. And kitchen cooking supplies were stocked for everything that we needed.Con: the sofa bed… it is ok for a small child. Would not be good for teenagers or adults. It was very uncomfortable laying down with my 3 yr old daughter. The “head” of the bed is lower than the “foot” of the bed. So maybe sleeping upside down would be better. The head of the bed didn’t feel very stable. I also wish they had some plastic cups. Luckily we had brought cups for our daughter. But was worried about her knocking a glass many times.

Beautiful Condo

We came down for a week to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The condo was absolutely perfect. Very clean and well kept. The view from the balcony was perfect. We come to OBA yearly and this by far was the shortest walk from condo to beach. The huge TV on the living room was a bonus too. Would highly recommend this unit / building to anyone.

Great weekend

Had a great weekend with my parents, we enjoy staying at the Phoenix I great fun, the condo was great with the perfect view, now i will only give 4 stars because the sofa bed was horrible we wanna sleep on it and you could feel the bed springs, the person had to sleep on the couch since it was impossible to sleep on the sofa bed, might wanna get new mattress for that.

Cute place

Condo was cute & property was fairly clean. You could tell it was an older property so some things were to be expected. The sofa bed could use an upgrade/better mattress as you could physically feel each spring in the bed. Overall was a wonderful stay!

Beautiful view

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. I was a little hesitant because it popped up as a new listing with no reviews and fewer details than I would have liked. However, the pictures looked nice and the price was good. We were able to check in easily and the people at the front desk were very helpful when we purchased our parking pass and throughout the stay. We found the condo to be moderately clean. They need to have the cleaning company do some deep cleaning of things like the ceiling fans and the top of the refrigerator as there was tons of dirt in these areas. I stayed with my teenage daughter as our intent was to look at colleges in the surrounding areas. The condo had plenty of room for the two of us. We shared the giant bed so we didn't need to use the sleeper sofa. (The bed is very tall!! I did see a step stool in the closet if you need it, but this would not be a good bed for someone who has trouble getting up and climbing into bed.) The bathroom had plenty of towels for the two of us for our stay. The condo came with only 1 roll of toilet paper plus a tiny bit left from another roll. This would never have been enough for the length of our stay, but thankfully I brought an extra roll. (This was during the tp shortage and there wasn't any on the shelves of any stores either.) I was also happy that there was laundry in the unit! Just bring your own detergent and run it while you are out for the day as the washer is VERY loud. (Same with the dishwasher) We had free wifi and access to Netflix for when we wanted to relax inside. The kitchen had almost everything we could have needed during our stay with plenty of dishes and pans. A pizza cutter or some Tupperware might have been the only things we would have liked to have. The view is amazing! You can watch the sunrise out there and listen to the waves crashing on the beach.... so peaceful. The building had many amenities available which is a bonus. We used the work out room and pool (warm water), but spent most of the time on the beach. The beach was relatively quiet even though it was Spring Break week. You can go for long walks in both directions. (I've stayed in other condos that included things like beach towels, beach chairs, toys, etc. None of these things were available at this rental.) Updates in the binder needed. Overall, our stay was amazing at this condo and I would return in the future. It was a great get away and we loved the location.

Vacation 2024

The property at Phoenix 1 was clean and very family-oriented. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available to rent each day, which was a plus. However, it would have been nicer if one set was automatically included, but the prices weren’t bad, so it was okay. The staff was very helpful. When my sister and her husband came to visit, they were allowed free visitor parking in addition to amenity wristbands, which was great! The views were beautiful and quite peaceful compared to the hustle and bustle of places like Destin. Overall, we loved our time at this unit and will stay there again when we return to Orange Beach.
