Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! We’re glad you had a peaceful stay and were able to enjoy the property and all the little outdoor spaces around the cabin. We love the birdlife out there too, both the year-round species and the migratory birds that pass through. And at night, hearing the different owls calling through the woods is one of those simple things that really adds to the experience. We really appreciate you staying with us!

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the beautiful location and found the rest of the cabin clean and nice. I was very surprised to read the comment about the bed linens, as all linens are washed and changed between every stay. Had we been contacted during the stay, we would have done our best to address the concern at that time rather than learning about it afterward. We’ll also take a closer look at the cookware and replace anything that is showing too much wear. We always appreciate feedback that helps us keep the cabin in great shape for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us.

Very clean and peaceful cabin in a quiet location. Owner responded promptly to any questions we had during our stay and about the area. The long stone road over hills to get there was a little tricky to navigate if not an experienced driver.

Thanks so much, Marlo — we really appreciate your kind words and are so glad you enjoyed the peace and quiet! You're right, the stone road can be a little tricky the first time, especially with the hills. That’s actually why I made a short YouTube video showing the full drive in, so guests can see exactly what to expect. It’s linked in the check-in message, and I always recommend watching it before arrival just to make that first trip a breeze. Thanks again for staying with us — you were great guests!
