The house dates from the thirteenth century, renovated in the nineteenth century and located in the historic old Cahors. It is above all my grandmother's house, a "family" house for generations, my ancestors in Cahors were watchmakers. Very atypical with its two floors and its outdoor staircase, its small garden of 100 m² and the incredible view of the cathedral and Mont Saint-Cyr. This small street of Bousquet, typical of old Cahors is amazing and the tranquility that reigns there is so relaxing.
It is located in the heart of old Cahors, 200 m. from the cathedral and its extraordinary market and market halls. The train station is 10 minutes walk away and the Lot 5 minutes away.
The house is located in the heart of historic old Cahors, 200 m. from the cathedral, its extraordinary market, the covered market and the Lot. Everything is within walking distance.
It is composed of two floors, on the first kitchen and living room as well as two bedrooms (one with two single beds and another with a double bed). On the second floor, a living room and three other bedrooms (one with two single beds and two with double beds). It therefore offers ten beds and up to twelve, with supplement, using the sofa bed in the living room on the first floor. A bathroom and separate toilet on each floor (shower on the first floor, shower and bathtub on the second).
Beds are made on arrival and a set of bath towels is provided per person (one small and one large).
The garden is full of charm with its vines, garden furniture and a gas grill and plancha barbecue.
In the summer, the house keeps cool thanks to its thick walls and by protecting it from the sun during the hottest hours. Portable fans are available and one bedroom on each floor has an air conditioner.
