Perfect Family Break

Very fortunate to spend a week based in the beautiful batch. Great location, very clean with ample space outside for the kids to play. Comfy beds, great shower with an amazing energy throughout, an added bonus having Dottie as a great host - Highly recommended

Lovely stay - dot (I think that’s her name -sorry!) welcomed us so nicely and was very lovely .!

We had a really nice stay here and was welcomed so nicely upon arrival . The beds were so comfortable- beautiful soft sheets! Had the best sleep . New world within afew minutes walking distance as well which was a bonus . Lovely and cosy spot, good kitchen , fridge , a selection of teas and also coffee too . Thanks so much!

Awesome weekend away!!!

Highly recommended family of 7 ages 14yrs to 2 years old had an Awesome weekend of fun all close to bayfair mall, hot pools and beach is beautiful very close to where we we're staying my family loved the flat, spacious, beautiful decor, feels welcoming and my children are very fussy and want our home design like this. Dottie is a lovely host will definitely be coming here for weekends away. Thank you so much.🤗

A hidden gem

Out of the main area, quiet, walk to shops, coffee, and beach, this was a really good find. An open grass area next door, day and afternoon sun, clean as a whistle, exceptional quality range of all you could possibly need without clutter, modern retro feel, large bathroom, large main bedroom, lovely cozy second bedroom, very soft beds, smallish lounge area/space, all linen / towels provided :), loved reading in the red armchair, O and X's toilet paper a cute touch. Very happy and comfortable staying here, like being in your own appartment.

Amazing property and outstanding Host

Really lovely property and Dottie could not have been more helpful. Sparkling clean w many amenities. Also really enjoyed the outside sitting area. Well located about 10 mins walk to beach or easy drive to free beachside parking. RSA 5 mins walk away for hearty eating.

LOVELY CLEAN AND CLOSE TO RSA

Very lovely property to stay in, had all the things we needed for a short stay. Clean and tidy, parking just outside the door which was great as we have a rather large vehicle. Handy to shops, RSA, beaches etc. Would happily stay here again.

Well kept property in The Mount

The property was nice and the owner friendly. Everything worked and was clean. It was a little smaller than it appeared on the website with a lot of furniture in quite a small space but we were made welcome and it suited our purposes as we were not at home for most of the time and just looking for somewhere to get ready for our son's wedding.

Perfect sanctuary close to beach

We love this place and have now booked for next year - that will make it three years in a row that we have chosen to holiday here. We have stayed at other places in the Mount but this place is by far our favourite. It’s comfortable (gorgeous furnishings, decor) value for money, has everything you need (coffee machine, bbq, fridge, outdoor area, Netflix) and is in a great location. Not to mention that the owners are real chill and super welcoming. I don’t think I actually want to holiday anywhere else! 5 star every time.

Beautiful property, close to beach and town centre

We had an incredible time at Hank and Dottie’s place! The property was beautifully presented, gorgeous furnishings and a really lovely feel about it! We loved being so close to the beach and town centre, as well as the local supermarket - but also having a quiet place to come back to after our busy days exploring. Everything felt so easy! The property is in perfect condition, really spacious, just lovely to spend time at. And our hosts were the loveliest people! So friendly, so helpful, so accommodating and thoughtful. We would highly recommend this accommodation and we hope to return one day ourselves! Incredibly well priced for the quality and location. Very family friendly and safe as well. Thank you so much Hank and Dottie! Hope to see you again sometime!

Comfortable place to Stay

Midway stay

Very relaxing place to stay. Covenant to both Bayfair and Mt Maunganui. Great to be able to pop across to the RSA for dinner. Wonderful hosts, very accommodating and friendly.

Forever grateful

An extremely lovely and accommodating host! We were stuck in a rut and Dotti really came to the rescue helping me with my young u11 basketball team. Even offering to cook us meals. I cannot recommend this stay enough. Close to laundry service was an absolute plus! Thank you again so much Dotti!!!

Family group Stay

Absoluty fabulous! Dottie was wonderful & so friendly, we would definately stay there agian if we go to Tauranga/The Mount. great location, close to shops and beach. It was much bigger than I expected from the photos. Plenty of room for the 7 of us.

Beautiful holiday home

We had a great stay, the place was absolutely luxurious. It was really well laid out and loved all the little surprises around the place. Hank and Dottie are lovely people and make you feel welcome. It was a really convenient location as well, close to all the shops the supermarket and the beach too.

Centrally located, impressive self-contained flat with master bedroom, separate bathroom, huge living room and private outdoor area. Recently remodeled and tastefully furnished, the flat boasts charm, comfort, privacy and an unbeatable location. High end comforts and luxurious. Highly central location, minutes from beautiful Mount beaches and downtown Mount Maunganui, quaint shops, motorway, Bayfair shopping, markets, and quality restaurants. 10 mins to the famous Mount walking tracks.

Large master bedroom with ultra-comfortable king bed made with Egyptian cotton sheets and bamboo pillows.

Bedroom has a small couch which folds down creating an additional bed. Generous wardrobe space and set of drawers for clothes and items. Iron and ironing board in room. Large separate bathroom with shower.
Separate and additional bedroom on the small side off the lounge for your group.

Spacious lounge with Kitchenette and sliding-door accesses the private patio and garden. Equipped with a large TV, Netflix, heat pump/AC and a couch/ sofa bed for the kids or additional guests.

Sink, microwave, cutting boards, cutlery, cups, plates, wine, beer and champagne glasses. Mini fridge/ freezer. Nespresso machine, coffee press and tea.

Large covered and private outdoor area for wining and dining. This area makes an excellent entertainment area and has views to Mauao, our Mountain. Overlooks a large Park and with private gate access, so you have a large field to enjoy, play in and spend time with the kids.

Pop down the street 30 seconds to shops, a Thai restaurant, fish and chips, dairy, Lotto, fruit and vegetables, and the RSA. We are happy to guide you and show you around.

Laundry and BBQ are available on arrangement. We live part time upstairs.

Our home is in a safe area, and we have a Ring security camera on our front door.
