We had such a great stay. The place was super secluded and was a short walk to the beach. Beautiful view. The hot tub was great and easy to use. Kitchen had all the basics you’d need. About 5-15 min to any restaurants or downtown. Beds are also comfortable.

Thank you Shelly and Mark for sharing your lake house with us. The house is very well maintained and nicely decorated. Hosts are friendly and informative. Neighborhood is quiet and situated back in the woods and close to the water. Area nearby has several great restaurants we enjoyed. Seasonal weather prohibited use of the in-ground pool.

The home was clean and welcoming. Access to a private beach cove made our trip truly special. The hot tub and fire pit made for cozy, cool evenings. The Lake House was a perfect spot for two couples to relax and recharge. It was only a quick jaunt to some excellent restaurants and wineries. Shelly was an amazing hostess.

This was an outstanding getaway palace packed inside a roomy lake house. 100% recommend. The property was clean, organized and easy to access. Property owners were great. The whole experience was a great reminder how beautiful our country still is.

The home was one of the cleanest i have seen. They had music playing when it arrived, which made it so inviting. We enjoyed everything about the stay, the private beach was amazing, and communication with the owners was great! Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool!

The rooms were clean, spacious, and had plenty of storage for your luggage! We were able to very comfortably sleep 7 and greatly enjoyed the hot tub and porch area. Our kiddo LOVED the ping pong table and it was nice that there were two lounge areas for our larger group.

Thank goodness for all the beds- we had a bed hog!

It’s so hard to find places that allow pets. This house was perfect! Pool, private beach, and a great yard. The main floor does get hot during the day but the downstairs stays cool.

Amazing spot!

This is a great spot and we had an amazing time. This was a little out of our comfort zone as we usually go south for vacations but it was well worth it.From the time we booked we had great communications with the property owner. They had to stop by a couple of times for routine maintenance (mowing, pool cleaning, etc.). They was very up front and always worked around our schedule to accomplish this. The first day she stopped in to go over a few things and show us around which was nice.The neighborhood was secluded on a dead end road that only had a few houses at the end. This made it very private and quite. The outside area (pool, hot tub, fireplace, etc) was exceptional and very beautiful.

Peaceful, fun, and relaxing!

This is a property that is perfect for those that want to relax but also have trouble sitting still. There are so many things to do a short drive away but you don’t need to leave to have a great time. The pool and hot tub are great, the ping pong table is there for use and there are large windows so you can enjoy the outdoors without going there if that is your preference. We just had two people but I can see where having more guests with different needs would really thrive at this property. 10/10 - thank you for having us!

Relaxing stay for a couples get away!

We had a great time and had really responsive communication from the owner. The property was clean and smelled great! The walk to the beach was manageable and the owner came by when we checked in to show us how to get there which was helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Lake House

This house was amazing. Stayed there for our anniversary! Has everything you need to stay. Nice view of the duck lake behind house and then a fantastic view of Lake Michigan a short walk down to the beach. Love the hot tub and the pool but was to cold to go in pool. Shelly and Marc are excellent hosts. I would go back!

Great Girls Weekend

Beautiful home and spotlessly clean! We had a great time on our girls weekend, enjoying the quiet atmosphere, the spacious deck and the hot tub. Although it was too cold for the beach, we loved the view, the birds we heard and the wildlife we saw. Looking forward to coming again!

This contemporary 3 bedroom (sleeps up to 8) ranch style home offers a partial view of Lake Michigan and a panoramic view North Grand Mere Lake. The home includes private sandy beach access on Lake Michigan and a (seasonal) wading stream. See more details on beach in description. Among many amenities, it includes a private inground swimming pool, six-person hot tub (open year round), charcoal grill, gas grill, and large wrap-around deck. Come to enjoy serene views, beautiful snow falls, wildlife, endless sunsets, relaxing walks and a private sandy beach. If you like action, you're only 10 to 20 minutes away from the popular destination towns of St. Joseph and New Buffalo. We're located at exit 22, off of I-94. Stay at the Lake House for a week during the prime season or a minimum two-night getaway during the off-season and enjoy it all!
