The Kingfisher cottage is a detached house located on a large family property on the banks of the Saulx River in a peaceful and relaxing setting. Enjoy free tennis and the optional secure swimming pool (open from May 15th to September 15th). The house has 6 main rooms, including 5 bedrooms, and has been recently renovated.
Private access road, ample parking; terraces and pergolas by the river – an ideal spot to cool off in the summer. Shops are available in the village; private footbridges allow you to cross to the other side of the river. Tennis court. The large 50m² living room with views is located on the ground floor and includes a fully equipped kitchen. There are 5 bedrooms: 2 with 160x200cm beds and 6 with 90x200cm beds, 2 bathrooms with a bathtub and shower, and 2 separate toilets.
Amenities include a television, Wi-Fi, stereo system, laundry room with washing machine and dryer, and a fenced garden in front of the house. Ample private parking is provided. Electric heating.
The swimming pool is family-friendly (my grandchildren may be present) and is heated from May 15th to September 15th, as an optional extra at €150 per week (payable on site if you did not select this option when booking). There are grab bars in the showers and toilets.

From Bar-Le-Duc take dir. Saint-Dizier via the D635. Then take the direction Haironville. From the village square take the D997 towards Stainville. 300m to the right after the end of the village sign, take the private bridge belonging to the former Masters of Forges. (if you go beyond you will pass in front of the Arcelor factory, in this case you will have to turn around)
From St Dizier, Nancy or Reims, take the Nationale 4 to the "la houpette" exit and head towards Haironville; just after the bridge in the village of Haironville, turn right on the D997 towards Stainville; 300m to the right after the end of the village sign, take the private bridge belonging to the former Masters of Forges. (if you go beyond you will pass in front of the Arcelor factory, in this case you will have to turn around)
