This 5th-row ocean, custom-built escape is the epitome of southern island charm. The sweeping front porch with rocking chairs beckons you to unwind and move to the rhythm of the nearby waves. Immediately upon entering, you will find an open concept living space that directs you to a spacious screened in porch–perfect for entertaining–and overlooking an outdoor island sanctuary. Private and thoughtfully landscaped backyard, patio and pool area complete with *heated pool, and spa that easily accommodates 10, lawn fire pit, and shaded poolside pavilion with bar, flat screen TV, and grill. When you’re not basking in the truly great outdoors the main level has two king master bedrooms–one of which has an en-suite bath that includes a walk-in shower with separate claw foot 6’ soaking tub.
Along with 5A Hickory, this is an ideal spot for weddings. And both are just a short walk to the beach. Please inquire about having your wedding of family reunion at these beautiful homes when making your reservation.

David is a great host. He is easy going and always responsive (even when he is on vacation). This is our second year staying at this property. It is a great house for children. Great amenities, close to Coligny, and the beach. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Stay during school vacation week!

We had a wonderful time at this property. We were all set with beach gear provided. The home was so lovely, clean and huge for our three families. The yard was another added bonus with the pool and spa! We will definitely want to come back and loved the short walk to the beach. Location couldn't be better where you can easily ride bikes or walk anywhere.

Great outdoor pool area especially for littles! Plenty of space! The walk to the beach was a little longer than expected. It also crosses the road right at a blind curve so not great for little ones but overall we loved it!

Our group of friends had a great time at this rental. Close to the beach and well maintained. Lots of extras that are not provided at most rentals. Staff was great and made things very easy to check in.

Spring break 25

The pictures that we saw online did not do this house justice. It looks like many updates have occurred and it is absolutely stunning. The backyard is magnificent along with the kitchen and the roomy bedrooms. One of the top houses I’ve ever stayed in on any vacation. If you’re looking to entertain and have a good time, this is a perfect house just steps away from the beach and Just down the street from plenty of shopping and restaurants.

Great house- overall outstanding and great location. It is not noted in description but plenty of beach chairs, coolers, sand toys are available. It would have saved us some room in our cars had we known that was all available. The kitchen is lacking some basics. We are Vrbo owners and do provide spices and basic kitchen items like foil, ziploc bags, etc. Bring your own- they do not provide any of those items.

Perfect family trip

Our stay at 5B Hickory was excellent. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The property manager was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. The pool and hot tub were great. The kids loved the boat themed bunk room. We're looking forward to coming back!

Fantastic House

The best house we have ever rented! What a beautiful house with a perfect location. The bedrooms were big with full bathrooms. The kitchen and living areas with an open floorplan made our experience so great! Loved the pool/hot tub and outdoor area. We walked to the beach every day, which was so easy down a private walk. We can't wait to stay there again.

Wonderful home for our large family. Adults as well as grandchildren. Short walk to beach on private path from the house. House had a great pool and hot tub. Great place to call home for the week

House and property were found to be as expected. Our two families that shared the house/property had such a great spring break vacation. Property managers were great, scheduling a time to stop in and show us how to use all the amenities this property provides. They were also easily accessible by text for any questions or to make suggestions to us for our first ever visit to Hilton Head. Property is a quick easy walk to the beach. Spent plenty of time in the great pool as well. House had everything we needed for our stay. So much room that we could have easily had a third family join the eight of us. I would highly recommend this property for a memorable stay.

Wonderful House, Location and Backyard

My wife, our kids, their spouses, our grandchildren and I enjoyed a great week in Hilton Head. The house has magnificent family space, well equipped kitchen, bedrooms with bathrooms, and a private backyard with pool, hot tub and outdoor kitchen. It is well equipment for beach time and is right off the bike trail. The South Forest Beach area is great of walk, restaurants, entertainment and just great fun.

Thanksgiving Week

We stayed here for the 2nd time, everything was wonderful. House manager was very accessible and friendly. Always willing to help. Would definitely recommend for several families meeting on HHI. Great house, pool and spa were great as well, worth the price to heat them as we were in them almost every day.

Paradise in Hilton Head

This home is fantastic. Definitely a 5 star or more. Dave is very easy to work with, we met with managers at the house who gave us key code to get in and use the elevator, instructions on running the pool and spa along with showing us the gate in the back and where the beach path was. Everyne was very pleasant to work with, will definitely be back.

Anne & I started in 2014 with our first house at 27 Pelican St. In Spring of 2016 we built our little compound on Hickory Lane (my sister in law built 5A and we built 5B). Since then we have built one additional home at 15 Flamingo St. in North Forest Beach.

This property is unique in that is built like a low country cottage with over 1,100 sq. ft. of screen and open porches. it is fenced in with it's sister cottage 5A to create a small compound.

Only 5 rows to the ocean, gate right onto the bike path in S. Forest Beach. The lot is over a 1/3 of an acre, so there is almost 2 times as much space as most lots in N. Forest beach. It has a pavilion, fire pit and a nice pool with attached spa, lush landscaping.
