What would you say to let go of everything, family nestled safely in an old silkworm nursery Feng Shui renovated in the 19th century, with a large swimming pool of 13M on 7, heated from April to November, in a large enclosed park of 1 hectare equipped with games for children and adults (large trampoline, climbing wall, swings, slides, petanque field, etc. ...). Without forgetting the giant screen of functional 45m2 living room!

"Un je ne sais quoi de Paradis" is also 4 family suites with private bathrooms, equipped with Ethernet and Wifi.  For your intimacy and security, each suite is completed with a private terrace and garden. The outdoor dining area surrounded by greenery, the comfortable pool house and its plancha, the kitchen, the indoor dining room (accommodating up to 15 people) opening onto the largest of the terraces and the famous living room mentioned above. To refine the picture, a 35 m2 studio with handicapped standards is available, with its private shaded terrace. Un je ne sais quoi de Paradis is surrounded by nature, you will be able to hike, bike or just relax but if you need to, you will be able to get some news from all over the world by using our internet connection.

Epicurean, lunches or dinners with "plancha" or "cocktail" themes on request, rustic and/or refined plates prepared by Isa, your host. To be tasted near the swimming pool, sprinkled with a pretty regional wine; or even the latter at your service all week long for tasty meals... Here everything is possible; from jazz evenings until 10 pm; to the custom programming of a sports or cultural day whose reservations would be managed by the owner; and to total autonomy, you just have to order. 
"Un je ne sais quoi de Paradis" is rented privately for up to 15 people.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans le gîte. Nous étions 3 famille pour un anniversaire entre amis …Tout commençait bien avant même d’arriver car Isabelle nous a contacté pour préparer le gîte en fonction de chaque famille. Le contact était gentil et efficace. On s’est senti accueilli et attendu, c’est très agréable !Le gîte a beaucoup de charme et le jardin idéal pour les enfants. Plein de jeux sont à disposition pour eux mais pour les grands aussi . Et s’il devait en manquer, le jardin a plein de recoins idéaux pour des caches cachés. Il est entièrement clos et sécurisé pour permettre aux enfants d’évoluer en sécurité. Par ailleurs de nombreux lieux sont aménagés à différents endroits pour permettre aux parents de passer des bons moments en surveillant les enfants si besoin.Lors de notre séjour Isabelle a été vraiment agréable et présente pour toutes nos demandes, voire plus. Elle nous a même apporté du bois pour faire une flambée le soir dans le grand salon du gîte !On a passé un séjour au top . Mille mercis Isabelle

Our stay in July

We booked a complete house with 4 bedrooms, airco, large Swimmingpool etc. To be honest we we’re a bit disappointed when we arrived since 2 rooms were locked since the owner said we don’t needed them? In my opinion we booked a complete house no matter how many we are, when we pay the full price we should get the full house! Other then that the owner lives in the same building, something we didn’t know. Every day the owner opens up the pool in morning and closes it at 21.00 he in the evening. In my opinion I should be able to use the pool whenever I want since we booked a whole “private” house.. during the day sometimes the owners dogs pops up. It’s a nice dog but nut perse something I’ve been waiting for when I’m want to enjoy my rest. At the first morning the owner explained that energy was super expensive en therefore we had a forfait of using the airconditioning between 19.00 and 22.00 hr. All other hours would be billed at 5 euro/hour . Of course we didn’t agree and then that was no issue anymore. The region and the village are very nice, but the house (for us) is simply not as mentioned on the website. It felt like the owner wanted to have “control” during our stay, not the most pleasant feeling on holiday. We would not book it again.

Nice house

We had a lovely holiday in this very nice house. We were 16, 8 adults and 8 children, age 5 – 14. Especially the large pool was very popular. The house is nicely renovated, with large indoor areas. But many stairs. The kitchen is relative small, but very well functioning and with all necessary “machinery”. There is a lovely terrace where we had all our meals. The sleeping rooms were of different size, but every think worked out fine. However the room on the lowest floor could benefit from air condition as, there were a little problem with moist after the showers were used. The historical town was nearby, but only accessible walking if you are very fit, as the downhill trip is very steep. So a car is essential. The owner of the house, Issabel, was very friendly and helpful with all questions. So we can strongly recommend this house.

Une maison idéale pour découvrir une très belle région

Nous avons séjourné une semaine chez Isabelle et étions deux familles avec de grands enfants soit 11 adultes au total. La maison était parfaitement adaptée et équipée pour nous recevoir. L’intérieur et l’extérieur sont suffisamment grands pour que nous puissions nous retrouver tous ensemble ou séparément en plus petits groupes. La piscine et ses abords sont très très agréables.

Wonderful

The property is great. We had a fantastic week there. The property is a decent size - we had 2 families, 9 people in total and it was plenty big enough. All of the bedrooms have air conditioning which, when the weather is like this year, is an absolute must! The pool is a good size and probably 2m deep at the deep end - a must if you have kids like mine. There are lots of different external seating areas so you can always find somewhere either in the sun or the shade. Enough seating for eating both inside and out. Les Vans is a lovely town but it's very steep walk down to it - not for the faint-hearted. Isabelle, the property owner is lovely, always on hand if you need anything. All in all this a great property and we had a fantastic stay there

Très belle demeure en pierres avec beaucoup de place, une grande piscine et un très grand terrain aménagé pour les loisirs de toutes et tous. L'ensemble sur les hauteurs de Les Vans, près de la rivière Chassezac encore ouverte pour les loisirs aquatiques. L'hôtesse, Isabelle, attentive et réactive aux besoins de tous, est très sympa. Vorsicht: Wir konnten nicht alle Räume des Objektes nutzen

Wir hatten bei dem Aufenthalt das ganze Haus gemietet. Die Gastgeberin Isabelle hatte jedoch das besonders schöne Gewölbezimmer an ein weiteres Paar vermietet. Sie tat dann so, als sei dies ein Versehen. Nachdem wir uns auf einen Preisnachlass geeinigt hatten, zögerte sie die Übergabe unnötig heraus. Dann hat sie uns nach der Abreise beschudigt, einen zuvor beschädigten Sonnenschirm zerstört zu haben. Sehr schönes Objekt, leider nicht das bekommen was gebucht wurde.

Traumhafte Unterkunft

Unsere gesamte Familie (im Alter von 4 bis 80 Jahren) hat eine tolle, sehr erholsame Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Rennrad, MTB, Kajak, Schwimmen, Wanderungen mit Kindern, Shopping auf regionalen Märkten, alles in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und mit außergewöhnlichem Interieur eingerichtet. Jedes einzelne Zimmer (gut klimatisiert) mit zugehörigem Bad ist ein Erlebnis für sich. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir haben entspannte Stunden am großen Pool und im Garten auf lauschigen Sitzplätzen verbracht. Trampolin, Hängeschaukel, Tischtennisplatte, Gasgrill, zahlreiche Liegen und Sonnenschirmen, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben an großer Tafel lange Abende auf der Terrasse genossen. Durch die geschickte Aufteilung der Räumlichkeiten können auch nur Teilbereiche des großen Anwesens gebucht und genutzt werden. Isabelle ist eine beeindruckende, unaufgeregte und sehr herzliche Gastgeberin. Sie war immer präsent, wenn es Fragen gab. Wir können die Unterkunft durchweg weiterempfehlen und werden wiederkommen. Maison de vacances idéale pour la famille

Excellente prestation. Très belle propriété, de beaux volumes avec des espaces de qualité dédiés à chaque groupe familial. Grande piscine bien adaptée au nombre de participants possibles. Des coins extérieurs nombreux et bien prévus en fonction des heures de la journée dans un grand parc de garrigue. Localisation permettant de nombreuses activités sans multiplier les kilomètres.

Semaine très agréable et sympathique

Nous avons séjourné durant une semaine à 9 personnes. Le bâtiment, les couchages et les installations sont parfaits dans une environnement préservé à l’écart tout en restant à 5 mns du centre des Vans. Malgré une météo capricieuse, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine exceptionnelle tous les jours. Une magnifique terrasse surplombe le domaine et permet de dresser jusqu’à 16 couverts. Un grand merci à Isabelle pour son accueil et son attention à notre confort et pour cette soirée mémorable de chants et de danses. ;-). La demeure permet de créer 3 espaces nuits différents. Une belle semaine !

Un vrai petit coin de paradis

Merci à à Isabelle pour son accueil chaleureux. La maison est très belle, grande, et très bien aménagée. La terrasse qui domine la piscine est splendide idéale pour manger à l'extérieur. La piscine est très agréable, grande et très bien entretenue. On a passé d'excellentes vacances.
