A charming family home nestled halfway up a hillside with a spectacular view of the Seine Valley, our house is located on the GR 2 trail. Just 200 meters from the center of La Roche-Guyon and a few kilometers from Giverny and Villarceaux, its cultural offerings (historic monuments, remarkable gardens, and museums) are every bit as impressive as the nearby recreational activities (hiking, mountain biking, the greenway bike route between Paris and Le Havre, boating, golf, and gliding from the Chérence airfield, 6 km away…).<br>La Roche Guyon is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France—the only one in the Île-de-France region to receive this distinction—and has been selected as one of the French people’s favorite villages. La Roche Guyon is a highlight of the French Vexin Regional Nature Park, both for its location and its hillside nature reserves. <br>In the center of La Roche Guyon (200 meters away), you’ll find a bakery and pastry shop, a grocery store, a restaurant, a crêperie, a pizzeria, and a brasserie and tobacco shop. And in the village, there are artisans (metalwork, etc.), with a pottery studio very close to our house.<br>Bicycle rentals are available https://www.velofilduvexin.com/<br>Et with the option to have the bikes delivered to your home.<br>Renovated in 2020, our house—which has been in the family since 1925 and was originally a painter’s studio—has been home to generations who have enjoyed its charm and view and left their mark on its decor. <br>

Wonderful House, wonderful village.

The house is beautiful, comfortable, and practical. The outside terrace is wonderful with a glorious view, and the local area is a joy to spend time in. The walking paths were an added bonus.

This property was stunning! There were no corners cut. The charm is unmatchable! Philippe was an exceptional host! We have stayed at many VRBOs and others and I can honestly say this has been our BEST experience! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Wonderful house near Monet’s Giverny gardens. Plenty of space and beautiful, calm view of the river from the back patio. Great host - everything was summit and easy. Highly recommend.

Tolle Unterkunft

Das Haus sieht genauso aus, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen und beschreiben. Es verfügt über eine sehr gut eingerichtete Küche, in der man super kochen kann. Geschirr, Gläser und Besteck gibt es mehr als ausreichend. Es gibt drei stilvoll eingerichtete Schlafzimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten. Philippe (Eigentümer) spricht auch Englisch, sodass man sich bei keinen Französischkenntnissen gut unterhalten kann. Er ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Vom Ort aus lassen sich viele Ausfugsorte erreichen.

Agréable séjour à la Roche Guyon avec une superbe vue

Proche du donjon de la Roche Guyon cette maison est idéalement située dans un des plus beaux villages de France. Accueil sympathique dans cette maison pleine de charme et qui offre une belle vue sur la boucle de la Seine. Le service de table est magnifique, en accord avec le site. Ameublement raffiné. Merci pour ce bon moment!

Une location de charme

La maison est à l'image du village qui fait parti des plus beaux de France. Le logement est clair, pourvu de baies vitrées permettant d'apprécier la magnifique vue sur la vallée de la Seine. Les chambres sont belles, spacieuses et confortables. La literie est très bonne et tout est parfaitement "clean" . Malgré le temps nous avons passé une très agréable semaine. Les propriétaires que nous avons eu le plaisir de rencontrer sont trèe agréables.

Jean Claude et sa femme sont aimables chaleureux attentifs curieux et respectueux Leur gentillesse a conquis également le boulanger l’épicier et le pizzaiolo de La Roche Guyon Ils ont laissé la maison en parfait état et nous les accueillerions à nouveau avec le plus grand plaisir

Wunderschöne Terrasse mit Seineblick

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön in einem kleinen Ort mit weitem Ausblick über die Seine gelegen, fußläufig ist eine kleine Bäckerei und eine Epicerie zu erreichen. Im Ort befinden sich mehrere Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Außerdem sind verschiedene Wanderwege in der Umgebung ausgewiesen. Das Haus selbst ist exzellent ausgestattet, hell und äußerst sauber. Die Vermieter sind sehr engagiert und freundlich, so dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben! Merci!!!

Week-end formidable, au vert, repos, nature, culture.... à 1 h de Paris.

Une très jolie maison, ancienne, moderne car rénovée, décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Détail non negligeable : la vaisselle est de grande qualité (Lunéville, début du 20e). Une vue magnifique sur les Coteaux de Seine, depuis les chambres, le sejour et la terrasse. Des hôtes accueillants, généreux et très discrets. Une region imprégnée d'histoire : le château de la Roche Guyon, Giverny... avec d'innombrables activités... (le GR, le fleuve,etc.) Le tout à deux pas de Paris (1h en voiture). Sans oublier la lumière... incroyable... qui inspira Pissaro, Monet et tant d'autres génies. Nous avons été ravis par notre trop court sejour (4 jours) : nous reviendrons, c'est certain !

Superbe séjour

La maison est superbe, totalement rénovée, parfaitement equipée et très agréable à vivre. La vue y est magnifique ! Les hôtes sont très accueillants, toujours disponibles et de bons conseils pour profiter de la région. Nous recommandons chaudement et espérons pouvoir y revenir.

Le locataire que chacun souhaite recevoir : courtois, agréable, souriant, ponctuel, attentif et soigneux. Il a laissé la maison rangée, très propre. Très bonne expérience a recommander.
