Disappointing
We booked this apartment for 2 reasons, the location and the swimming pool. Location very good, pool and terrace were closed! We were informed after our arrival pool does not open until 1st June. This is not mentioned in advert. Our overall impression of the apartment was disappointing for several reasons:
1. The apartment is in fact on the first floor, this is not explained in the advert.
2. The stairs leading to apartment were filthy and had not been cleaned.
3. The kitchen had no useable work surface and very little storage due to cupboards being full with owners items.
4. The bedroom wardrobe was full with owners clothing and other items therefore we lived out of our suitcases for the duration of our stay.
5. The bed and mattress were very uncomfortable.
6. The heating did not work and as the apartment did not get any sun it was cold in the mornings and evenings. We reported this to the house sitters who said they would arrange for it to be checked, then he said it was unlikely to be fixed before we left.
7. Bathroom basin tap took 10 minutes before hot water arrived.
8. The separate toilet was tiny and you had to straddle the WC to enter due to close proximity of door. It was also cluttered with bucket, mop, broom etc.
9. Overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
For these reasons we were very disappointed in the property and would not recommend it. We would not use VRBO again due to inaccurate description of property.
