I'm an Ancient and Modern Greek, Literature and History teacher.
I've lived and worked abroad (Africa, Australia) for 4 years. My main hobby is researching on traditional Greek and Corfiot cuisine and preparation of authentic food, marmelade, liqueurs and such. I'm fluent in both English and Italian.
My husband, a teacher of children with special needs, grows organic vegetables using traditional methods only (no chemicals, no manure, no fertilisers) and indigenous seeds (authentic varieties only, no hybrids) and plays music (trumpet, guitar and bouzouki). He is also a fluent English speaker.
My two teenage daughters, Dimitra and Angeliki, play music (the violin and piano), sing and love drawing. They're both fluent in English and are currently studying French and German.
As a family we love traveling, inland or abroad, and meeting interesting and friendly people.

The 'Quiet Family Home In Logas' is our family holiday house. Built in a quiet corner of Peroulades, it has served our desire for tranquility for years. We initially used our house to raise our children and then as a getaway from our busy lives in Corfu town. Having hosted many friends from different countries, among them people we had met during our stay in Africa and Australia, we are familiar with the needs and wishes of travelers. In addition, in the field behind our house my husband grows heirloom organic vegetables during springtime and summertime. Once our crops start producing vegetables, we use them to make sauces, marmelades and liqueurs. This practice helps us get by, while at the same time improving our dietary habits and general way of life.
We would be happy to provide lessons of Modern and Ancient Greek Language and Literature, as well as Greek Cuisine, to any of our guests who are interested.

Our village, Peroulades, is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to enjoy tranquility without completely disappearing. Surrounded by olive trees, local flowers and herbs, the calming sea and breathtaking sunset view, friendly villagers and eager-to-help local businessmen, our guests will fall in love with Corfu. At the same time, Sidari and numerous other destinations await travellers who want to get in touch with the unique local civilisation.
As a couple that has travelled a lot, we can say with certainty that this is a one-of-a-kind destination, suitable for anyone who wants to find peace.
