A magnificent landscaped setting of nature and greenery, nestled on the edge of fields and meadows, at the edge of a vast forest, overlooking the bucolic Ternin Valley and the village of Chissey-en-Morvan, the northernmost village in Saône-et-Loire. Located on the old Roman road linking Sens to Autun (remains to visit), the village boasts a notable heritage (numerous castles, manor houses, fortified houses, and mills) as well as superb landscapes. It is also designated an "International Dark Sky Reserve" (for the Morvan Regional Natural Park). The cottage offers comfortable accommodation. It has a warm, rustic charm with a vintage feel, combined with the gentle and exotic atmosphere of a former residence (original French-style ceilings, cement tiles, fireplace mantel, and stone walls).
