"Great travelers who fell in love with the Charolais countryside" as they like to define themselves, Laure & Jean-Louis welcome you to a charming authentic 19th century Burgundian residence of character - elegantly restored with care in accordance with the rules of the art - nestled on a beautiful property steeped in history. Quiet location on the edge of a lane, in the heart of a peaceful residential hamlet nestled on the very edge of the bucolic Charolais countryside, a stone's throw from the center of the picturesque little typical village of Chevagny-sur-Guye (12th century Romanesque church to visit; town also known for having hosted one of the eleven stations of the precursor "Chappe telegraph" installed at the very beginning of the 19th century). Spacious and comfortable gîte. Warm country character combined with careful heritage restoration (preservation of the chimney mantel, stone & wood window lintels, original stone beams and walls). Charming rooms nestled under the roofs in a relaxing "cocoon" spirit. Cozy & comfortable atmosphere. Large sheltered & shaded terrace under a reed screen. Pleasant private garden, well-kept & flowery with children's games (swing & slide), serving in totally private access a beautiful heated swimming pool of 10x5m, nestled away from prying eyes in "intimate" mode. Composition: Gîte adjoining the owners' home (total independence). Wifi. Gas + electric central heating (upstairs). Wood stove. Reversible air conditioning by heat pump in the bedrooms. Ground floor: living room-kitchen-lounge (convertible 2 p. 140x190cm as an extra), bathroom (shower), separate toilet. 1st floor: 2 bedrooms, one with private toilet/sink (double bed 160x200cm / 2 single beds 90x190cm). Terrace + garden + carport (1 space) + private parking. Heated swimming pool (10x5m) shared with the owners "privatized" during dedicated hours (accessible from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. + 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.). Lovely authentic Burgundian residence of character from the 19th century, carefully restored - with a beautiful 10x5m swimming pool "privatized" during dedicated times - located in a quiet area, in the heart of a charming little typical village. In the heart of the rolling Charolais countryside, in the heart of a magnificent rural setting preserved by nature & greenery (succession of vast bocage, forest, meadows, rivers & ponds), on the route of the circuit of Romanesque churches & several marked hiking trails in green walks, 20 km from the greenway (and 19 km from the famous EuroVélo6 cycle route connected to the greenway), 24 km from the center canal (the Quiet Canal winding through nature), and very close to the junction between the Côtes Mâconnaises & Côtes Chalonnaises vineyards (first vineyards 13 km away & wine route to discover).
