Large, comfortable house in a rural setting. Nantes is 20 minutes away by car or train (TER), as is Pornic, a seaside resort. The gateway to Noirmoutier Island is 35 km away. The "Planète Sauvage" zoo and animal park are nearby. Hiking and biking trails start from the house. Next to Grand Lieu Lake.
5,000m² garden with a heated outdoor pool.
Living room, dining room, kitchen, pantry, veranda, TV room, fiber optic Wi-Fi, parking, 2 bathrooms, 2 adult bedrooms, and a children's bedroom with 2 beds + 2, or a double bedroom for a couple, making 3 bedrooms for 6 adults or a maximum of 4 adults and 4 children. A separate 25m² studio (€90/day) for 2 adults is available at an additional cost.
The house is located 3 km from the village with all shops and supermarkets.
Wine region, cellars to visit and oyster farming, oyster tasting.

We spent two wonderful weeks at Françoise and Jean-Marie's lovely house. The property was well equipped and immaculate and the garden was extensive with many places to sit and eat or just relax. The pool, table tennis and badminton courts were all well used by us. The surrounding area has lots of things to do - we went canoeing, surfing, sightseeing in the surrounding villages and Nante and for walks in the countryside. A great relaxing holiday, we can't recommend it enough.

Superbe séjour en Loire Atlantique

La propriété est très calme, bien équipée conformément aux prestations annoncées. Les commerces sont accessibles en vélo, voiture ou en train. La situation est idéale en pleine nature, à égale distance des stations côtières, de la Loire et de Nantes. L’accueil des hôtes est irréprochable et très chaleureux. Vivement recommandé.

Lovely house and location

We really enjoyed our stay: the house is beautiful, comfortable and spacious, even better than in the photos. The garden is really great, beautifully planted, the photos really don't do it justice. The pool was heated, 9m long with a step all the way round, not deep. The pond was lovely: we watched tadpoles, frogs and even a small snake swim. There is equipment for (shaded) table tennis, badminton and boules (also shaded). Lots of shaded areas to sit/lie/eat both indoors and outdoors, all thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen and next-door pantry/utility room has 2 large fridges, a huge freezer and a wine fridge. The bedrooms were all comfortable with automatic shutters. One room with a shower and one room with a bath and shower attachment (not mounted). Two separate toilets, one upstairs one downstairs. Quiet location but well positioned: 5 mins to shops at St Pazanne, 15 mins to swimming lake at St Philbert, 30 mins to Nantes (a visit to ride on the mechanical elephant and retro caroussel at Les Machines de l'Ille is a must) 30 mins to seaside at Pornic, 40 mins to island beaches at Noirmoutier. Kayaking and accrobranche (high ropes tree climbing) nearby. The owners welcomed us on arrival and thoughtfully explained all the details of the house. We would recommend this house for a family holiday.

Magnifique villa et jardin pour séjour tout confort au calme

Les propriétaires vous accueillent en personne dans leur ancienne propriété principale à 40 minutes de Nantes et de la côte atlantique. La maison est vaste, extrêmement confortable et dotée d'un grand jardin avec piscine. Equipement complet, on vous propose même les vélos de la famille, une table de ping pong, des jeux... Le village est minuscule mais très calme et on trouve facilement à proximité aussi bien des supermarchés que des restaurants et services de base. Nous sommes repartis ravis et reposés, et recommandons chaudement ce gite à la belle saison.

Séjour très agréable

Accueil très sympathique, maison très agréable, grand jardin calme et piscine chauffée pour profiter quel que soit le temps. Nous recommandons sans hésiter. Un lieu très agréable pour un séjour en famille
