Located in Trappeur’s Crossing Resort, this platinum-rated, air-conditioned condo is located just two blocks from the ski area and a short walk from some of the fantastic mountain restaurants and activities. During ski season, a rotating shuttle takes guests to the base on a rotating 10-minute-or-less schedule (or by request) to and from stores, restaurants, and shops on the mountain or in town. The resort has amenities that are available to all guests of Emerald Lodge.

The open floor plan features a fully-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, stainless appliances, a gas stovetop, and bar supplies. The living/dining area has a gas log fireplace, and off of the living room, you'll find a deck with a large gas grill, a table, and seating for six.

Perfect for couples or families, this condo will sleep up to eight guests. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom featuring a jetted tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. The den may be used as an additional bedroom, a TV room, a playroom, or a study. Its queen Palliser sofa bed is very comfortable, and the wardrobe’s pullout surface is perfect for a laptop. All rooms have cable TV. In addition to the free WiFi, the suite also includes an HP printer/scanner.

For guests' convenience, there is a private washer and dryer. The condo's supplies include hairdryers, shampoo and conditioner, bath soap, and laundry detergent. One parking space is assigned in the garage and comes with two dedicated bike racks. Additional community bike racks are available in the garage for guest use.

The condo does not rent to youth sports lodging programs or to Music Fest attendees.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great family get away

We had two families traveling together and we really enjoyed this condo. Having the ski locker was awesome, the shuttles were amazing, and the location was perfect. We were able to easily obtain groceries and go downtown for dinner/shopping -- didn't need a car during our stay. The condo was clean and comfortable.

Nice Place

Is larger than it looks in photos. Had everything we needed. Pool and hot tub are really nice. Parking garage is perfect and easy in easy out. Longest we waited for shuttle bus was 2 minutes. We’ve stayed at this resort previously and love coming back each time.

This was a very comfortable condo. The location is outstanding. Having the shuttle service was wonderful. We didn't need a rental car and used it to go to the grocery store, downtown, and for dinner reservations in the evening. It was great having the space for our party of 7. We definitely used the locker for our snowboards. The kitchen was very nice and well stocked.

Clean, roomy, updated and great location

I’m really picky and found the condo to be very clean. Plenty of room for 8 people. Condo was nicely furnished with updated decor and comfortable beds. It was well stocked with toiletries, paper towels, etc., only thing missing was some laundry detergent. Easy walk to the mountain and the shuttle was great for getting around town. Check in would be better if you didn’t need to collect keys at a different location but having a locked lobby area makes it difficult to skip that step.

Excellent Ski Condo

Third time at Trappeurs Crossing. This property exactly as advertised. Very clean and did not lack any kitchen items as we stayed in for meals. Parking space in garage is excellent, ski lockers located just steps from actual unit. Check in is through Vacasa at the Lodge at Steamboat which was not intuitive. I would not have found the lockbox to retrieve the key had I not asked the front desk at the Lodge at Steamboat. Overall, excellent place to stay for our family of 4 ski trip. Would rent it again without question.

Great Ski Lodge within a well operated complex

3+1 bedrooms, 3 full baths easily accommodated 7 of us. Beds were comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. 2 full size ski storage lockers. Gas bbq grill on patio porch. Lodge was clean and tidy. Indoor parking was available to us. The Trappeurs Crossing amenity center — the Lair — across the street from Emerald includes a front desk staffed all day by friendly staff, provides all day coffee, a weekly happy hour, and ice cream social. The Trappeurs Crossing complex includes multiple heated hot tubs (indoor and out) and pools. The included Vacasa ski area shuttle service was top notch. Lots of nice shuttles, good drivers, very short wait times, and by-request transport to/from locations downtown (restaurants, food stores, etc). The ski area is well within walking distance if preferred. Be sure to ID yourself as a Vacasa guest to obtain a 20% discount for advance lift tickets and gear rentals. Would be nice to have smart TVs for steaming/mirroring ski videos and photos. It was a bit clunky getting checked-in and finding our entry key fobs as they were in another building in the complex. To be fair, we were there after >310” of accumulated snow and many signs were buried, making it a challenge to find building names and addresses. We had a great ski vacation and this lodge was a huge part of a wonderful experience.

Great except AC didn’t work as described

Place is great. Immaculately clean. Great location. However, I specifically looked for a place with an AC and this one didn’t have one that worked upon arrival. I called the property manager right away and was told a technician would be over to fix it. That didn’t happen. So sleep that night was not pleasant. I then called back first thing the next morning to a voicemail box and emailed the owner who passed it off to Vacasa, the prop mgmt company. Finally they sent someone over who spent about 45 minutes trouble shooting it and said he would need to get his boss involved. He also said this happens a lot with this unit. So they know it’s a problem. Eventually the prop mgmt company called and said an AC tech will be onsite at 2:30pm. He was able to get it fixed around 3. I asked Vacasa for a credit and was offered a pittance per their policy. Unacceptable in my opinion for what we paid per night for property. Disappointed, but the property was great otherwise.

Perfect for our family!

This condo was such a blessing to our family! It was comfortable and had plenty of space. The owners anticipated everything you could ever need and then some. When I sleep away from home, I have come to expect uncomfortable mattresses but not here! The owners invested in making sure their guests slept comfortably. Thank you! We had 2 issues with our stay, both of which were resolved quickly by the property management. Our key cards did not for the underground parking garage and the grill starter had to be replaced. We will be back!

Great condo

We spent one week in July at Emerald 5202. Condo is one of the best we have rented. The unit is very spacious and well stocked. It felt very "homey" and comfortable. There is a nice outdoor dining set with good views from the deck. There are tennis/pickleball courts across the street and a nice pool for the condo building. Location is about 3 blocks from the base of the ski hill, easy walking distance in good weather. Overall a great stay and would definitely rent again.

Loved our stay

We loved our stay here. It was a great location and the condo was amazing. Love the pools? Hot tubs and pickleball/tennis courts. A/C was an added bonus with the hot weather we had last week. Everything was so nice here. Highly recommend.

The house was great! Plenty of room for our family of four. The beds, which we are picky about, were great! The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was one TV in a bedroom didn’t work, even after we reported it our first day, there was no pantry to store dry food so we used a bench in the dining room, and the screen door was difficult to operate. Other than that it was a fantastic stay and would recommend this condo to anyone!

Beautiful & Cozy!

This condo was absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. We loved sitting outside on the balcony and the tablespace provided. We ventured to the pool and hot tubs and loved the grounds. Great Place

This condo was great. We stayed in June and had some hot days so the a/c was key. The place was clean and seems to have been updated recently - nice appliances, well stocked kitchen, great bathrooms. With five people, there was plenty of space. We used the pool and hot tubs at the end of each day and those are also clean and well maintained. Having laundry in the unit was also a great convenience. We used it plenty during our week since we flew in and had to pack light. The location makes it easy to get to the Lodge area of Steamboat (3 minute drive or 10 minute walk) and downtown is a 10 minute drive.

Great Unit

This is a excellent unit. The bedrooms are big, the location is good, and the amenities are nice. This is possibly the best equipped rental unit I have ever stayed in in terms of kitchen supplies (pot, pans), appliances, BBQ, and it has a great large table for groups. I definitely recommend this unit.

Great Condo

This condo was very nice. 3 bedrooms plus a den giving everyone plenty of areas to go. Nice cozy living room for everyone to gather. Great Kitchen. We were worried about the distance from the mountain, however the shuttle was very timely and we never waited longer than 5 minutes.
