Relaxing vacation

Backyard Retreat - Close to everything

We enjoyed our stay. The house had all that we needed and the pool and screened in back porch were wonderful. The location was great - close to shopping, restaurants and a ton of things to do. The hosts are wonderful - kind, genuine and attentive. They made us feel more like friends than guests.

Melbourne for the winter

The weather didn’t cooperate for pool time. The area was very nice lots to do. Harry and Brenda were great hosts.

Comfortable weekend getaway

Harry was very accommodating in ensuring that we have a great stay. He was hospitable not only to us but our fur babies as well. The house would be considered Old Florida but not lacking in necessities. Thank you for an awesome weekend!

Great house and wonderful host

Harry was wonderful and so was his home to rent. From the moment we started communicating he was always available, friendly and addressed any concerns. I highly recommend giving this property A chance.

Lovely oasis in the middle of Melbourne, Florida

We loved staying in this house. So much better than a hotel! The backyard pool area is surrounded by beautiful flowering plants and solar tiki torches - just like an oasis in town! Felt safe and our dog was much more comfortable there than if she were in a hotel room. Plenty of kitchenware and pool towels for a great home away from home gathering. Harry is the perfect host!

GREAT for our current needs.

Awesome hosts. Quaint and homey. We weren't on vacation. Needed place while water/mold mitigation done at our house. Harry and Brenda gracious and accommodating hosts and allowed us to bring our three dogs.

Swim & Sleep

If anything the space is even more spacious than the pictures show. All the amenities are in excellent condition and the pool is heated & well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet. Looking for a wonderful private spot near everything - than this is the spot for you. Most attentive host I have ever encountered. Offers just about anything you might require to make your stay an enjoyable one. I loved the gas grill too.

Excellent Host - Quite neighborhood- Welcoming home

Excellent host (Harry) makes sure that you are ready to relax. The well-kept home is ready for your stay and then private and yours for the duration. Quiet neighborhood, quiet backyard with privacy fence, foliage, and pool. Very convenient screened-in room. My wife and I stayed for 10 weeks while renovating our home. We made this our home during our stay! Now we book this property for visiting family when they are in town. 1.5-mile walk to downtown Melbourne for restaurants and shopping and a 4.5-mile bike ride to the beach.

Cute Florida Home

Nice little get away, clean, simple and close to anything needed. Harry the manager/owner is very accommodating and lives close by. Not fancy but very homey and comfortable. A little cool during our stay but still got a couple of days in the pool between visiting relatives and activities. A great experience and feel we’ve made some new Florida friends. Hope to rent again our next time we get down to Melbourne from Michigan . Thanks Harry and hope you can get down the isle and put that ring on her finger soon!

Harry contacted us the day of the booking, was very nice and willing to answer any questions we had. In the days leading up to the visit, he was in close communication with us to make sure we had everything we needed, and was always very prompt in answering- even when he was on vacation himself! The house was beautiful, the pool well maintained, and the kitchen fully equipped to provide us with a great in home dining experience every day we needed it. The location is perfect, minutes away from anything you could possibly want, and a quiet neighborhood. We visited the dog park where everyone was friendly! Over all, we could not have asked for a better vacation thanks to Harry and his beautiful rental. -Ryanna, Corey, Calli and Jakob June 17-21, 2021 😊

Melbourne vacation was the best!!!!!

I have never been to Melbourne Florida, my family and I always vacation in Orlando for the attractions. Due to all the social distancing we decided to take a trip to a beach and find a house with a private pool. This property popped up on my notifications as a new listing and grabbed my attention immediately. The whole experience has been above my expectations from the owners immediate response to questions, welcoming my family at the door, checking on me daily to see if anything was needed, and going above and beyond to make sure my teenage kids had the best time ever. Riding bikes, going fishing, and late night swims by glow sticks and strobe lights was just a few things my teens really enjoyed. The back screened in porch was our daily hangout and if you don’t know florida it does get hot. He purchased and hung fans so our family time could remain outdoors. I could go on and on about this property and the owner so I will end with this..... If you are looking for a home away from home in a nice quiet neighborhood but easy access to beaches, shopping and restaurants this is the house for you!!!!! I promise you won’t be disappointed. My family will be returning here for years to come.

Mixed feelings but not good

I hate giving negative feedback. The house location is accurate, but the neighborhood was not the best. The interior photos look much brighter and newer than the actual interior. The house (and furniture) is old and has low ceilings and not very bright inside. There were many dead moths on the windowsills and floor of one bedroom, although in general the place was otherwise clean. The sheets and towels appeared clean. There were price tags on some lamps and things. Apparently we could buy these items according to the notes in the house. The bathrooms were ok although in one you could just fit on the toilet without hitting knees against sink cabinet. The pool was clean and we did swim one day, but the yard was overgrown and had a ladder and other equipment laying in the one small area of open grass. There is a travel trailer on the other open part of the yard and a small car parked in the front yard. You have to put your own account information into the TV because they do not have regular TV. The property manager was nice. Both she and the owner contacted us on check in day to be sure we knew how to get in. Again I feel bad about saying these things, but we felt the need to be honest. I wanted to leave the first day, but we hung in to visit family and left a day early for a hotel. I wish we had taken photos but I didn’t think of it.

Getaway heaven in Melbourne Fl

Excellent communication with the owner on check-in, during stay and check out. The house was exactly as advertised with all essential available and if any problem had occurred, the owner was across the street and always available. The pool was a bonus as the grandkids really enjoyed it, more so than the beach. Harry, the owner was an excellent host even baking a banana bread cake and bringing to us. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone that wanted a wonderful stay in a quiet golfing community.

Everything you need, is there, Seriously !!

Awesome Pool, house is Beautiful, Lovely, Clean, Refrigerator had Welcoming snacks, fresh delicious mangoes. Beds were excellent to sleep. Tv in every room, Washer and dryer top of the line … I’m telling you literally Everything was there .. Harry and Brenda are Excellent Hosts !! Thank You Again, we will be going back ! Highly Recommended!! And those mangoes do go Great with Vodka 😂😂
