This Houston Medical Center & Museum District neighborhood is very walkable, nestled within a 1/2 mile of many museums, parks, restaurants, cafes and bars. Uber/Lyft/Taxis are plentiful and cost effective for exploring the area. A Houston B-cycle station (citywide bike & e-bike rental) is located 1 block from the house. Two rail stations are also blocks away from the townhouse providing even greater access to the Houston area. The home has an attached 2-car garage allowing direct entry in and out of the home. The private driveway can accommodate 2 additional vehicles. This Houston TX rental is minutes away from local attractions and business centers.

We had a wonderful stay in Houston. Maria’s house was very comfortable and spacious with clear and helpful instructions about everything! We had absolutely everything we needed to cater for our multi generational group. The location was also great for museums and parks and I’d definitely recommend visiting.

This wonderful 4 bedroom was a perfect weekend get away for our adult family of six. Located close to Midlands, the Zoo and Herman park. And a short uber to NGR Stadium. The home was well appointed with all the necessities. Maria our host was excellent, responsive and offer great suggestions for our stay. Highly recommended and when we return, it will be our go to place

Wedding weekend at Hotel ZaZa

Family wedding in at Hotel ZaZa and this location was perfect! Plenty of space for 6 adults (3 couples & 2, 3yr olds!) Kitchen was great set up and super large family room for us all to be together. Each family had their own area….it was really great. The host are AMAZING! They think of everything and very responsive.

Great stay for larger groups

Long weekend for Rice Graduation which was perfect for multiple family members and friends. Very spacious, very clean, had everything we needed. Neighborhood is very convenient. Would stay here again if we had a large group to visit.

Everything was clean, but we did have a few issues that made our stay less than 5 stars. Some thing are outside of the host’s control, but worth noting. -This house has two A/C units. One that controls the main floor and lower bedrooms, and one that controls the upstairs bedrooms. The A/C unit for the main floor and lower bedrooms was broken. We notified the hosts and they had a repairman come out right away, but he was unable to fix it. They had to replace the entire unit the next day, which they got done around 6-7pm. We did have to go the first night without A/C for the lower bedrooms which made it pretty uncomfortable. House was about 80 degrees. -There is some water pressure issue. I think we figured out what causes it on the last day, but it led to a couple frustrating moments during our stay. The water would completely cut out if you run the washing machine or dishwasher. We were trying to shower and get ready for a wedding and the showers literally wouldn’t turn on. -Two things outside of the hosts control, but worth noting: you can hear plane flyovers almost constantly, especially if you are in the upstairs master bedroom. Secondly, there is a mockingbird that has a nest in the chimney or something. Literally all through the night a mockingbird was singing. Went to CVS and bought earplugs but slept terribly in the master bedroom because of the bird. Again- hosts can’t control that, but worth noting.

Perfect Stay Near Medical District – Highly Recommend!

We recently stayed at this property in Houston while my family was in town for my mom's medical care. The house was exactly as described and conveniently located near the medical district. The hosts were very quick to reply and extremely understanding. We will absolutely be staying here again for her next trip to Houston.

Unbeatable Location!

This was a great property for our family trip, which included us, our three kids and one set of grandparents. We visited for the Houston Marathon and the location could not have been more convenient. We walked to most of the things we wanted to do. The common spaces and bedrooms worked really well for our large group.

Hidden gem in Houston!

We stayed here for our daughter's graduation from the Baylor College of Medicine. There were 6 of us and we had space to spread out but also allowed us to come together as a family. We're even talking about coming back in the future for reunions. Thanks for the great stay!

Terrific Place in a Great Houston Neighborhood

We were four friends getting together for our annual reunion and really enjoyed the property - it's on a peaceful street within walking distance of Rice campus and Hermann Park, so we didn't have to get in our cars very often. Maria was super-responsive to a couple of requests; highly recommend the property.

Very Close to MDA

Had to come down to MD Anderson for testing. This property was just perfect for that. Less than 2 miles. Kitchen was nice and beds were comfy and house was clean.

I am a native Houstonian who hat moved away 5 years ago for work. We were back in town to attend a wedding and visit Texas colleges for my daughter. We picked this rental because it was spacious but also because we knew we wanted to visit all of our favorite restaurants and museums. Place was exactly as pictured, clean and beds we’re comfortable. Highly recommend.

The townhome is located within the Museum District and is very walkable to museums, other nearby attractions and parks. Fine dining and shopping is also nearby. Easy access to highways as well. Interesting and fun places for kids.
Several of our guests choose to stay at our place because of the closeness to the Houston Medical Center.
