Only 10 miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park and a short drive to the Hungry Horse Reservoir and nearby Flathead Lake, our cabins are your perfect home base for exploring everything the area has to offer. Built during the 1950s while the Hungry Horse Dam was being constructed, these cabins were simple dwellings and at one time were without plumbing or electricity. They have been completely renovated, including new HVAC and are now darling little vacation homes with a lot of character and history.
The Blue Cabin is a two bedroom cabin with additional an additional private loft/studio suite upstairs, ideal for families seeking adventure in Glacier National Park. The lower level features a king bed in one room and a bunk bed in the second bedroom. The loft features a king bed and pullout sofa bed. Kitchen is stocked with all necessities so you can create home cooked meals during your stay, and there is a washer and dryer in the lower unit for your convenience.

A wonderful stay at the blue cabin
A very cute and functional cabin, which easily accommodated six adults. Love the front porch, the grill, the downstairs bathroom with laundry, and the upstairs suite. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Check in and check out was efficient. Thank you for a great stay.

Great property with everything you need!
We stayed at the blue cabin (loft and main floor) with my family. In total we had 7 people. This place was a perfect place for us. They had everything one could need for a property including a coffee station, fire pit, and washer and dryer. The cherry on top would have been some board games, but definitely a “luxury” item. The property was convenient, quiet, clean and comfortable. Access to the park was easy and so was check-in and check-out.
The only thing that was a little weird was in the loft, there is a king size bed and a double sleeper sofa, but if you used the sleeper sofa, you wouldn’t be able to open or close the door. Since this is the only way of egress, my niece ended up just sleeping on the sofa and not on the pull out bed.
FYI, the WiFi can be a bit spotty, but I feel like it would be the same at any property in the area. For future renters, make sure you make a note of the rental owner’s phone number. It’s not readily available in the emails or on the property. I had to search through all my email communications for it.
Overall, the property has a very good setup and location. We were very happy staying here.
