Carefree Cottage offers beautifully appointed space that provides all the comforts of home away from home. Downstairs you’ll find a relaxing living room, spacious kitchen/dining area & convenient 1/2 bath as well as a lovely air conditioned patio for those warm Florida evenings and private fenced yard with gas bbq. Upstairs are 3 impeccably decorated bedrooms (all with Smart TVs) and a full bath with large shower. Carefree Cottage is only a short walk away to getting your toes in the sand and we have everything you need to get there and enjoy (beach wagon, chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, boogie boards) Spectacular location for viewing local launches. We also offer the adjoining townhouse Baja Bungalow for your additional guests/larger groups. Both the Carefree Cottage and Baja Bungalow are only a short easy walk away from the intimate neighborhood beach/Bicentennial Park (offering pavilions, boardwalks, volleyball, public bathrooms) the wonderful shops and local restaurants without ever getting in a car. Grab some breakfast at the local diner, then hit the cantina for delicious food and refreshing drinks, and end your day sitting on the deck of one our many unique eateries. Or if you’re lucky enough view one of the exciting launches from your front door or the nearby beach. This is truly paradise. Less than 30 minutes to Kennedy Space Center, Ron Jon’s Surf Shop, Cocoa Beach Pier and cruise ships. 16 miles from USSSA Space Coast Stadium. Easy access to airports.

Stand out host, great beach stay!

Aside from it's excellent proximity to the beach (about 2 blocks), this property is very well cared for and stocked. There are very few clues that it is an older townhome as it has been beautifully updated and decorated throughout. It had the best stocked kitchen and game collection of any vacation property I've stayed at. It's clear Lori is passionate about making sure her guests have a comfortable stay and she went above and beyond to accommodate specific needs we had.

Five Star Beach Retreat!

The townhome was perfect for visiting with family. The kitchen is well equipped. The back patio is fun for grilling and hanging out. The upstairs shower was perfect for winding down after a long day. If you’re hitting up the beach, it’s well equipped with beach gear. It’s close enough to most places so you can walk. I’ll definitely keep this lovely gem in mind for next time I’m in town.

Softball tournament

For a family of five plus the grandparents this house was perfect size. Nobody felt cramped. Plenty of hot water. Centrally located we were everywhere and never in the car more than 30min. 5min walk to beach (bring water shoes most beaches in area have tons of shells). The provided cart and beach chairs/toys was awesome. Great layout of living room to allow large family with no one feeling left out.

Clean, convenient, saw manatees!

Unit was very clean. Nice upgrades to the rooms. Owner was very responsive. Convenient location, walked to the beach several times. We saw 10 or so manatees at the location provided in the owners notebook! We enjoyed the stay!

Fantastic Florida stay

We were extremely pleased with Lori's townhome in Indian Harbour Beach. The location is great. It's an easy walk to the beach, and although you have to cross A1A, there is a very well marked crosswalk with a traffic light. Restaurants are also within walking distance and the neighborhood is very safe. The townhome has keyless entry which made check in super easy. It's very clean and beautifully decorated with modern appliances and entertainment systems. The beds were very comfortable and the large shower had great water pressure. Lori has really gone out of her way with attention to detail and making guests feel welcome. She had a basket of useful items near the front door, such as masks, wipes, sunscreen and bug spray. There was a charging station for almost any device, Netflix, popcorn and Keurig coffee machine with pods to get started. Everything was very clean. The screened in porch and small tropical backyard were a great place to relax. While we didn't use it, there was also a large new gas grill available. Lori also provided a binder with tons of useful information. I highly recommend this townhome!

Best vacation EVER!!

Indian Harbour was absolutely perfect! Only a block from the beach. We saw a shuttle launch and visited some of the most beautiful beaches. This entire area was incredible. The kids had such a wonderful time. The property manager stayed on top of everything. We couldn't ask for a better experience. We will definitely be back again.

Indian Harbour Beach has been described by Space Coast Travel Guide Aimee Heckel in her “Space Coast Boasts Some of the Best Beaches on the East Coast” as a small beachside community – only two square miles big – between the ocean and the Indian River Lagoon and offering two beachside parks including nearby Bicentennial Park (only a short walk away from Carefree Cottage) At Bicentennial Park, you can enjoy surfing, stretching out in the sun, building a sand castle, walking out on the boardwalk and getting shade underneath a picnic table pavilion.
