Provence vacation

We stayed at this property for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the gorgeous gardens with lavender fields and olive trees, the outdoor veranda with grill and dining/lounge area, the comfy bedrooms, and the thoughtful design details throughout the house. We also spent many mornings driving to nearby towns to explore farmers markets and cafes - Saint Remy, Arles and Avignon are all nearby, and there are some towns even closer that have some basic grocery stores, bakeries and a few restaurants/bars. The owner was very responsive, and the housekeeper who came once a week and also welcomed us on arrival was also quite helpful. Highly recommend this rental if you’re looking for an idyllic retreat in the French countryside.

Great property to enjoy Provence life style.

The property is very nice, well decor and have an exceptional outdoor area to enjoy the fabulous weather at Provence and the quietness of the country side, but at the same time is very close to beautiful cities in Cote du Rhone as Avignon, Saint Remy, Arles. Nancy is very nice and helpful she is a great host. Francoise our housekeeper speaks perfect Spanish, she was waiting at our arrival with wine & goodies, she is a lovely person she take care of the guest and house in a very good way. This property is a top 10 . I will highly recommend the Mas a Saint Pierre DE Mezoargues

Beautiful spot

One of those houses which the pictures do not do justice to - also ideal set up for two families with young children. The owner, her husband and the housekeeper couldn't have been nicer to deal with.

Very well equiped home

A great property which is very well equipped - the kitchen has everything you need, video games for the children and bikes ready to use. It has a great pool and the barbecue area and outside kitchen is excellent. The nearest village is a 10 minute ride away and has a great butcher and a very well stocked small shop where you can buy bread and day-to-day goods. Becasue of COVID we didn't explore the local area as much as we might so I can't really comment too much on this, but many of the must see Provencal locations are within 30-45 minutes drive.

Wonderful house and garden

We stayed in this beautiful typical French style house which 100% lives up to the pictures and actually exceed the expectations. The garden and swimmingpool was a big plus. The house was very well equipped and we truly loved our 7 days in this peaceful and beautiful area of France. We hope to come back within long.

Better than our high expectations

Sometimes you watch a trailer for a film and all the good bits in the film are there. The actual movie turns out to be a bit disappointing. It's the same with some rental properties - the pictures show all the nice bits and everything else is a bit rubbish. With this villa, exactly the opposite is true. The pictures online are nice but the reality of the villa is so much better. The gardens around the house are the nicest of any villa I have ever stayed in and the pool area is superb. There is a massive outdoor kitchen as well as a lovely dining area. The plants are beautiful and it's a pleasure to watch the bees buzzing between the lavender bushes. The house itself is very nice - great projection TV, well appointed kitchen and very stylish decor. The master bedroom is just amazing - high vaulted ceiling, nice ensuite and a big comfy bed. The location is good - it's very quiet but easy drive to Vallabregues and Avignon. The bikes provided at the property are good for exploring the local area. The week we spent there was everything I could have wanted from a stay in Provence. Perfect.

A beautiful house and garden

We spent a blissful week in this property in July 2018. We were a party of 6 adults in search of a restful, comfortable haven in Provence and the Mas de l’Hirondelle did not disappoint. The house is tastefully decorated in the local style and is very well furnished with comfortable beds, good bathrooms and all mod cons including a/c and media. We practically lived outside as the house has a fabulous large pool together with an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, seating area and shaded dining space. A wonderful retreat.

Truly special!

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home - everything was quite incredible - the style, the facilities, the layout! It felt like staying in a boutique hotel but not having to share it with other guests! We particularly enjoyed the pool, the film projector and the outside living area.

Oasis of peace

We absolutely loved our time in the mas d'hirondelle. From the moment you drive through the gates, a sense of calm and peace takes over. The house is so authentic, yet has all the creature comforts- great sheets, movie screen, music system & comfy touches everywhere. The garden is gorgeous with beautiful flowers and the kids love the huge pool and the neighbouring horses who come to the fence for a pat. We had long evenings out on the terrasse drinking rose, BBQ and enjoying the views. We've been there multiple times and look forward to visiting again soon.

Heaven in Provence

Rent this house!! We have done 3 Home Away rentals in Provence and this is by far the most beautiful. Stunning private property with huge pool and gorgeous flowers and grounds. All amenities thought of and Jacqueline the concierge was available and so helpful. House was super comfortable with great beds, linens, bathrooms, outdoor sitting/lounging/eating areas, and great Wifi . We cooked in the full outdoor kitchen most days. We were there for 2 glorious weeks and enjoyed touring the area visiting gems of towns like Chateau Neuf du Pape, St Remy de Provence, Les Baux, Villeneuve-les-Avignon. Wonderful wine country as well; La Nerthe and L'Estoublon were our favorites. And of course Avignon is 15 minutes away. Bikes provided were well used on the quiet lanes surrounding the property. So much to do, just not enough time.
