Beautiful property for our family of five! The porch and sounds of the river were delightful! Saw a moose a couple times during our stay. Would book here again! Hosts were friendly and easy to contact. Great memories were made!

This was a great property to stay. It had plenty of room for three guest, very clean and amazing views. The kitchen was well stocked as were the cabinets. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin and the view were magical. Spectacular scenery surrounding the beautiful cabin. On our arrival, we were greeted with a Moose in the Mountain Stream in front of the Cabin. She hadn’t a care in the world about anything. The cabin was spotless and every bit as beautiful as depicted in the photos. Very secluded and a wonderful place where there is nothing to occupy your mind but the beautiful Mountains.

Our family of boys (ages 18, 14, 12, 10, 7) all enjoyed the scenic stay at this property. Moose sightings, trout fishing, hikes and relaxing. A perfect mix of adventure and quiet. Hosts are exceptional and the house is perfectly clean and well stocked. Strong WiFi connection for being so far out of town!

Absolutely beautiful place. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The house had everything we could possibly need, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. There were chairs and picnic tables in different areas around the property, making it easy to just sit, relax, listen to the creek and take everything in. Watching a moose casually stroll up while we were sitting outside was pretty hard to beat.The property was peaceful, private and exactly the kind of place we were hoping for. You can tell a lot of thought went into making sure guests have what they need to enjoy their stay.My only small note is something I’ve noticed with a lot of VRBOs lately: cleaning fees paired with a fair amount of checkout cleaning. I also wasn’t comfortable being asked to wash all of the bathroom and kitchen towels together on a quick/speed wash cycle from a sanitation standpoint. A quick cycle just doesn’t feel like enough for towels that are being used by different guests. I understand the need to get things moving when there is a quick turnaround, though, and it was definitely not a deal breaker.Overall, I absolutely loved this place. It was such a beautiful part of our vacation, and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful secluded cabin in the woods

This cabin was exactly what our family was looking for! It is cozy, private and there is so much to explore outside. We made so many memories and hope to stay again in the future.

Beautiful piece of property and a cute cabin. Some extra things *could* have been done in cleaning prior to our stay, but overall, a great experience. Very quiet and the hosts are accommodating. Would be honored to visit again some day!!

This is an awesome place to stay. It is very comfortable and nice. We saw moose, elk and deer. The chipmunks are very fun to watch and the birds ate right out of pur hands.

Amazing stay

We loved everything about the cabin! The views were amazing, the moose came right up along the driveway, and our girls loved fishing in the pond. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Stay

We had a great time at the cabin and appreciated all the amenities, cleanliness, remote location, and cool weather in August. We enjoyed seeing the moose family on multiple occasions and had fun catching and releasing the eager brookies in the pond and stream. Overall a great relaxing stay! Thanks!

Perfect mountain getaway

The property is exactly as described, absolutely beautiful and peaceful! The fishing on the property was excellent, and we really enjoyed spending time outdoors. We chose Colorado as part of our goal to visit all the MLB stadiums, and the drive from Denver to the cabin was easy and incredibly scenic. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property.

While visiting family in the Breckenridge, CO area for summer and winter vacations, we fell in love with the area and decided it would be a wonderful place to own a second home. When we found this cabin, we knew it was meant to be. We were so mesmerized by the property and cabin, that we lost track of time and missed our plane home. We love how you feel when you're at the cabin. You're away from all the stresses of daily life without being isolated. The surrounding mountains and creeks and pond make it special. It's a place for us to reconnect with family and nature. And it doesn't hurt that there are so many fun things to do nearby!

この宿泊施設の特徴

Some of our favorite activities include packing a lunch and hiking right out the door and up Mt. Sherman. It is known as one of the easiest fourteeners and the views are amazing. There are various picnic tables and chairs and on a clear night, you can see the Milkyway. Horseback riding, ATV rentals, and white water rafting are all close by. Fishing and gold panning in the creeks and pond are a favorite with the men and kids. And there's a grocery store 10 minutes away with everything you'll need for the pantry and cooking on the grill. Our favorite places to eat in Fairplay are the Brown Burro Cafe (Delicious Mexican), cheese steaks at the Dinky Dairy and everything at Millonzi's. And let us not forget Breckenridge - 23 miles from the cabin door - has everything a resort town can offer. Skiing, golfing, biking, ice skating, shopping, restaurants, tours and events.... We love it all and think you will too!
