VILLA ROMA GUSCO BY THE SEA QUIET BEAUTIFUL GARDEN

Our house, completely renovated, benefits from a large quiet garden perfect for moments of family conviviality and an ideal location :3 minutes walk from St Georges de Didonne beach and 8 minutes walk from Entrance gives access to a beautiful modern and comfortable space with a living room (TV and WIFI), a dining area, an open fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, oven, Nespresso machine , Bodum coffee maker, toaster, kettle, fridge / freezer…).

From the living room you will have access, through a large bay window, to a covered terrace which will lead you into a pleasant and shaded garden.
Another access is available to go to the garden and the terrace equipped with table, chairs, sunshades.

The house was enlarged by removing the garage to create a bright master bedroom suite with 1 bed of 180x200 (2x90), a bay window overlooking the garden, a ceiling fan and a private bathroom (walk-in shower and washbasin cabinet). A separate WC is on the ground floor.

A second large bathroom is available on the ground floor with a walk-in shower and a double sink unit.

Upstairs:
Two bedrooms with 90X200 beds that can be moved closer together (180x200), for a total of 4 sleeping bed. A second independent toilet is available as well.

Outside:
Furniture is available so you can enjoy the large, quiet and intimate garden. (barbecue, deckchairs, relax armchairs)

Smoking is prohibited in the house and pets are not accepted.

Two parking spots are available in front of the house and free parking spaces are available all around the house.

The house provides a washing machine, baby chair, cot, ironing board and iron.

BED LINEN IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE (Sheets and duvet covers). Towels are not included. Duvets and pillows are available.

The bakery is located less than 3 minutes walk, Super U is in the center of Saint Georges de Didonne, all shops and beaches are within walking distance.

Our region has many cycle paths that will take you through the region from a different perspective.

Tourism: Royan, its center, its church, its shops, the Palmyre Zoo, Bonne Anse, Mornac (listed village), Talmont-sur-Gironde and many others, Le Phare de la Coubre, Meschers, Mortagne, the Fâ, the Royan thalasso, the Casino….the town center. The house can welcome up to 6 people. Free parking for 2 cars.

Wonderful stay

We spent two weeks in Roma Gusco and had a wonderful time. The house is well equipped and you can reach bakery and beach just within a few minutes walk. Also the surrounding is great to explore and you can relax in the nice garden.

Very impressed by such a clean, well equipped property. Bakery was only 5 minutes away and the beach, bars and restaurants about 10 minutes walk. If you like walking, you can walk along the beach to Royan ..which has an excellent market. Great relaxing week.

Lovely, well equipped villa in an excellent location. We could do everything on foot as St Georges de Didonne is well supplied with bakeries, restaurants, a little supermarket and a fabulous beach. We walked every day, ate healthily and slept well. We LOVED it.

Wonderful house and Garden

We stayed in this house for 10 days and we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our family (3 persons) A beautiful house with lots of light and a beautiful garden. The host (Emanuelle) was very friendly. I highly recommend this house for everyone!!

Great Vacation

We had a really wonderful stay - the house is situated in a nice neighbourhood, in walking distance to all these nice places : beach, bakery, city center, daily market, restaurants. This makes your stay very relaxing. The house is equipped with everything you need and the interior is really nice.We also enjoyed the surrounding area, offering lots of possibilites to check out different beaches, Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Ile d'Oleron, ....just perfect !

Wonderful holiday

The house is in an ideal location for the beach, town and Boulangerie. Easy walking to all areas as well as restaurants. It was very well equipped for our needs with a wonderful garden too. We would have liked a cupboard to put our groceries away in but all the cupboards were full. We had a good sized fridge and BBQ too. We would certainly return to the house for another holiday.

Das Ferienhaus war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlte es an nichts. Die Betten waren bequem. Der Garten war sehr gut zum Ausruhen und geselligem Beisammensein geeignet. Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub genossen.

Sehr hübsches und sauberes Haus

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Villa Roma Gusco. Der Bäcker, der Strand, die Fahrradvermietung und auch der Ortskern sind alle zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und super ausgestattet.

Maison au calme

A recommander pour ceux qui cherche une maison au calme pas loins de la mer. La maison est propre et moderne. A l'etage les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais toujours avec des bons lits. Celle au rez de chausse' avec sa sdb prive' est plus grande et a beaucoup plu a ma belle mere qui ne monte pas facilement les escaliers. Certains jours (debut Juin) on a preferer de profiter de la chaise long dans le jardin ou il n'y avait pas autant de vents que a la plage.

Jolie maison bien située au calme

La villa Roma Gusco est située dans l’agréable petite ville de St Georges de Didonne à proximité de Royan mais surtout des très jolis villages de Talmont, Mornac et de la belle station balnéaire de St Palais. A 20 mn en voiture du remarquable zoo de la Palmyre. La visite du site de la grotte de Regulus à Mechers est à faire également, ainsi que le Parc de l’Estuaire à la sortie de st Georges de Didonne. La maison est dans un quartier calme, au bout d’une petite impasse, mais proche des commerces malgré tout.

Schönes Haus in charmantem Ort

Das voll ausgestattete Haus ist ein herrlicher Rückzugsort, um in einem ruhigen Viertel im Haus oder im Garten zu entspannen. Dennoch sind der Strand und das Städtchen schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass Saint-George-de-Didonnes auch in der Nebensaison ein lebhaftes und liebenswertes Städtchen mit vielen freundlichen Menschen ist. Es gibt viel zu entdecken und auch nach 14 Tagen haben wir vieles noch nicht gesehen. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen, gerne auch in dieses Ferienhaus.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Schönes, kleines Ferienhaus in sehr guter Lage. Wir sind zu zweit verreist uns haben lediglich die untere Etage des Ferienhauses genutzt. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts, alles war ausserordentlich sauber. Das Ferienhaus liegt ruhig am Ende einer Sackgasse und bietet Parkmöglichkeit sowie auch einen ansprechenden Garten-und Terrassenbereich mit entsprechender Bestuhlung. Bäcker, Markthalle, Restaurants und auch der Strand sind fussläufig oder mit Rad sehr schnell zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern sowie auch der Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort war unkompliziert und wertschätzemd.
