I'm a travel professional who was on a family trip to Italy, so I scrutinize any properties I visit carefully...but I am also a mom who was looking for a safe, clean place in a great location for a reasonable rate, and I must say the value of this property overlooking the water checked off all the boxes and is definitely worth looking into. Our 4 nite stay at the 2 bedroom seaview apartment was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. It was pristine, spacious and modern with a small balcony over looking the the amazing sea, perfect for your morning espresso or for watching the gorgeous sunsets with a delicious glass of vino! As a matter of fact the pictures listed do not do the view justice. It had a fully equipped kitchen, great wifi and a much appreciated lift, as many properties in Italy require you to bring your heavy bags up many flights of stairs. Conveniently located within walking distance of the supermarket, resturants and the train station where you can easily board a train for a leisure 2 stop ride to beautiful downtown Sorrento or for an additional few stops to must see Pompeii. Maria, our contact and who also checked us in was wonderful, providing us everything we needed from the ferry schedule to Capri at the marina just an elevator ride below...to Fransisco our very informative private driver who not only shuttled us to and from the Rome airport, but took us on a unique tour of the Amalfi coast (Ravello, Amalfi, Positano) that included an authentic 2.5 hour lunch in a tiny town of only 98! Including wine from their vineyard and homemade lemoncello!...truly memorable. One day we awoke to a bustling street market full of fresh fruits and vegetables for our dinner that evening as well as clothes and bags, should you have forgotten something while packing (take note ladies, they had hundreds of really nice scarfs - popular in Italy - for only 3 euros!) Immersing ourselves in a local weekly ritual made for a very enjoyable morning! Too many highlights to mention, we were definitely satisfied with our stay and wished we had planned for a bit longer. Heres hoping for another visit to the area again soon. Till next time lovely Piano di Sorrento! Please feel free to message me should you have any questions. Till then, Ciao!
